DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Htl & Conf Cntr Downers Grove

The staff were attentive but not gonna lie it was dirty in there , elevator was dirty but ,I went with my family on a reunion so there was a lot of foot traffic but, the toilet had a stain , the corners of the showers could’ve had things in them,hot tub wasn’t hot and for the price I payed I thought it’d be better

The cable loss signal several times and TV wasn't a smart TV so you couldn't even log into your own apps like other hotels. The microwave started giving off a loud smoke smell and had to be replaced. There were no real apologies offered or any concessions other than the cookies, which were tasty. They could have offered a gift card for Starbucks or the restaurant or added extra points for rewards members. Overall, I did get good sleep in the comfortable bed. Despite that, I probably won't return to that location.

Room was not clean had transfer to another at midnight. Next room was clean. Staff was professional and helpful in the moving process.

My children and I stayed at this property for one night, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The carpet was visibly dirty, and the air vents were covered in dust, making the room feel unclean. The most disturbing issue occurred when we pulled out the sofa bed and found crumbs and a condom underneath, which was completely unacceptable, especially while traveling with children. In addition, the guests in the room next door were extremely loud, making it difficult to get any rest. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had, and I cannot recommend staying here.

My room was very clean. And beautiful

That bed was well used.

I forgot to mention it but room 435 has a bathtub faucet that does not entirely shut off and so perpetually drips. That’s a lot of lost water over time.

Last minute reservation. Not enough parking

King suite was very room with a divided room from bedroom. Bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

They also had a birthday party going in the space that's in the middle of the hotel and the DJ was way too loud. I contacted the hotel about it and they said they will be done by 9:30pm for the quiet hours. I'm sorry but an event like that should be in their event spaces that were on the first floor away from the guest rooms. It was very loud inside our room that we had to leave until they were done.

Great hotel with great amenities. Not sure why the Fronr Desk person gave us a Handicap room. Seems to happen a lot when booked onlibe

Cleanliness and bathroom plumbing with back up in shower was poor.

Provided me with extra blankets when I asked them. Receptionist was super courteous.

Room smelled strongly of marijuana. Contacted the front desk, they stated no other rooms were available and handed me a canister of disinfectant to spray in the room.

Suite was clean and well kept but bathtub was narrow and dangerous. My husband slipped. There’s no grip on the bathtub floor. The bathtub floor is also not flat it curves and is narrow.
