La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Columbus Dublin

The place was just outdated even the elevator was old. The main thing that was bad was the room. The bed was so old you could see the indentations from people sleeping. When I laid on the bed to sleep I would sink into the springs and it was so uncomfortable. All hotels were full so I had to deal with it. Even the couch was so worn out that foam was sticking out on the arm. The floors had dirt and hair balls that I took pictures of to show my wife. Walking down the hall when I got there I knew it was a mistake as all the doors and trim were coming apart and fixed with putty. There was one family checking in when I was going to the store and leaving angry when I came back saying the room was horrible and they took 35 pics to send up. Everything was run downI and I know I won’t be staying there again. The staff was very nice though and that was it.

The maintenance in this building is no good. A/c was not working properly and you can see maintenance issues everywhere.

Rooms were cleans and more modern-like. It took a minute for us to get inside the room thought, as the door gets "stuck" and requires more push and effort than should be necessary. But we really liked the room, the lighting and location!

After a 9-hour drive, I checked in around 3:30–4:00 PM expecting to relax. Unfortunately, my first room was not properly cleaned. There was what looked like sauce splattered on the blinds, and the surrounding area was clearly dirty. I politely went to the front desk, and they immediately sent housekeeping. The housekeeper tried her best but said that was the best she could do and maintenance would have to look at it later. I asked if another room was available and was initially told no, but a short time later they found one. When I got to the second room, it wasn’t ready either. The housekeeper asked me to wait about 20 minutes in the hallway while she cleaned it. (The attached photo shows me waiting outside my room.) Once I was finally able to enter, the floors were still soaking wet, the garbage hadn’t been emptied, and it still didn’t feel properly prepared for a guest. I want to mention that every staff member I dealt with was friendly, polite, and genuinely tried to help. My disappointment is with the hotel’s cleanliness and room readiness, not the employees. I wasn’t looking for a discount or compensation I simply expected a clean room when I checked in. Looking back, I would rather have spent a little more money and stayed somewhere else.

Window shade wouldn’t close and they did nothing about it after I asked him to rooms are very rundown. I was charged an extra one night room right for some reason and they said they didn’t know anything about it. Will have to fight with them to get my money back.

The internet went out Saturday night and the only elevator was broken Sunday morning.

The room was clean but the building was not , dirty and smells

The elevator was out of service and we stayed on the 4th floor. Our AC unit leaked in the middle of the night and made a huge puddle in the middle of our room.

The property was in a decent and safe neighborhood but felt dated. My TV remote battery was dead when I arrived. No one answered the phone from my room. I needed to call the desk using my cell phone and then was told I needed to come down to the front desk to get new batteries. I did, she couldn't find any...

Lobby was very nice got to the second floor and it needed some work. Carpets were very dirty and even wet enough to splash water in spots. Comforter also had a large stain on it when we got to the room. 3 stars for a 3star hotel expected the room and hotel in general to be a little cleaner.

We arrived at 247p I know it was a few minutes early. The staff asked us to wait. Our room door looked as if someone took a sledgehammer to it. There was a weird smell in the room and the bed skirt was so dirty. I wouldn't stay here again.

It was a good stay, although there was hair from the previous person in the shower. The room was pretty clean otherwise and the bed was comfortable.

Very bad overall service. Will never stay at this hotel again.

The Staff make an extra effort to serve and to assist. Great location, clean and wonderful staff.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast was a nice bonus with a good variety of options. Overall, it was a great value, and I would stay here again

Majority of staff barely spoke English, making it difficult to check in and out. Good for a one night stay. Restaurants, stores and gas all with walking distance.

We asked for a refund because the room was not in an acceptable condition, but they refused. We left the hotel immediately after seeing the room and did not stay there. This was an extremely disappointing experience, especially considering the cleanliness issues and the way our concerns were handled. I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.
