Beacon Pointe on Lake Superior

the view, the room, location road construction on the access road made it difficult to get in and out at times

Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Popcorn bar and breakfast items were nice perks, as well as the parking garage. Great location for accessing the Lakewalk and bike trails.

Wonderful

The kitchen was ill equipped. The kitchen layout was poor, but it's so small it would be difficult for a designer to do much with it. I couldn't reach the microwave back, in the corner, behind the refrigerator and in the dark. I couldn't reach anything on the tiny wall shelf as it was too high, I'm 5'1". Lots of steps to lug luggage up. It would be nice to have cushions on the outside chairs. The whirlpool in the tub didn't work. It was almost impossible to get out of the tub, I thought I'd have to leave my husband there! It was way too slippery. The view was wonderful. The place was very clean. The people were great. Nice quiet location. Right on the Lakewalk trail. Great views of the lake. Free underground parking and bikes to use. Modest free breakfast, and popcorn and other treats in the afternoon. Convenience items in the lobby are overpriced. Will be back.

Beautiful location the rooms just need a little love. They are used hard and need some updates. I love Beacon Point I just think it is probably time to put some time into maintaining what makes this place special.

Loved the room, pool area and all the amazing amenities!

We loved that it was right on the water with breathtaking views of Lake Superior. It is close to everything from far enough away that it's nice a d quite. We enjoyed taking the complimentary bikes out and rode down to Canal Park. The pool and hot tub were great after a long day out and about. Staff was also great during our entire stay!

We love staying at Beacon Pointe and recommend it to everyone!

comfortable bed..clean..nice to have plates and silverware provided..we were on the street side but I can imagine the water side would be incredible. we were hoping that the kids in the pool would leave at 10 per the rules..but they didn't and we were not really able to enjoy the pool area..did not want to have to be the one to complain to have the adult hour to be honored

Our room was very clean but kitchen not stocked... only 1 coffee cup, 2 forks and 1 knife The free breakfast was a grab and go. Coffee was cool. No utensils. The fresh fruit was abundant. The parking garage was secure and safe. I added the Romance package which was delightful! The views were awesome and the balcony was wonderful to have morning coffee and evening cocktails! The scenery was spectacular!

Resort to downtown was three miles walked, it was amazing to go for a walk in the morning.

Cute little place on Lake Superior! The place was very clean and the staff was very kind & helpful. The hotel has a popcorn bar with fixings from 4-7pm in the lobby and smores in the evening out on the patio area, both were a great “free” perk! Only things that weren’t great was that the hot tub is pretty small (capacity of 5 people) and the balconies don’t have a lot of privacy. Otherwise a very nice stay!

The hotel was nice. However. I was supposed to get a room with a tub. When we got to our room. The room that we had didn't have a tub in it. Called the front desk. They stated that there was nothing that they could do due to the hotel being booked up. Which I get. But no offer of

Great place the views to lake Superior were amazing. The staff was exceptional. We had one of the Penthouse and was very big. One thing they actually do need to upgrade on are smart tvs. Otherwise our Family weekend was enjoyed by my kids and grandchildren.
