Staff were great, the view amazing! The room was not very clean, the kitchen floor had stuck food on it, fridge dirty, oven dirty, wrapper on the floor by the sink so it couldn’t have been swept even. The round table had a ring under the chairs of dust and dirt as if the chairs were never pulled out and cleaned underneath. All this led me to believe the bathrooms weren’t cleaned which leads to an unpleasant over all stay. The resort said they would send in someone but we were out during the time they could come and I had my things out so turned that down as I was not there. The garage door was right below our unit and it was loud. When I mention this to the resort and said the room should be discounted because of it—it’s constant all night— they said I should have requested a different room upon booking. To which I stated that was a completely ridiculous thing to stay as I had never been to the resort before and how would I know that it has a garage door in the first place to request not being by it! I would stay here again just because of the front desk staff and the view.

I truly recommend and would come back Only drawback 3 women one bathroom lol but that was not a big deal.
-
The view was amazing. Free popcorn and smores every night. Plus free grab and go breakfast. We would return to this resort.

We loved our stay here! Great location, friendly staff, and great outdoor area right on the water. The rooms were clean and had many amenities. I would definitely stay here again!

We were short a cup, but front desk said they would give us one, but we didn't need it at that point. I wish there was a lobby that looked out on the lake. The patio was nice, and had a cool breeze. Popcorn was great! I am curious about the mini hall space between rooms. It was interesting... The front desk staff was delightful.

This was our 1st time at Beacon Pointe and I will stay here again always.

Great place. Great staff and amenities. Perfect location

The setting is excellent and we have stayed several times over the years. I have however seen some need for better maintenance and care in recent stays. Cracked stone surfaces on our deck, the same poorly operating door handle to the deck, a garage security door that stopped working, poor care taken in cleaning and several things not cleaned out from previous guests are not encouraging at this high price point. Calling it a ‘resort’ and charging nearly a hundred dollars resort fee with tax leaves me a little cold. A small pool and gym equipment does not a resort make. We did not go because they had a great bar and seating and dining options, because there are none. The view and the location make it special, the amenities however are lacking and with fees and taxes making our one bed penthouse nearly $400 a night it gives you pause for future stays.

Absolutely the perfect getaway! Best kept secret in Duluth, especially if you're looking for all the amenities but away from everyone else. In walking distance to downtown. We had the view of a lifetime right outside of our bedroom. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a different stay in Duluth in the norm. Thank you!

Very nice place. Only thing that could be better is the fire pit is only going until 9 when it isn’t dark yet outside

The Penthouse was spacious and clean with an amazing view of Lake Superior. It was great to utilize the available amenities such as the bikes and grill. This hotel is conveniently located next to the lake walk which will take you to many shops, restaurants, and attractions. Staff was helpful and kind.

Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Popcorn bar and breakfast items were nice perks, as well as the parking garage. Great location for accessing the Lakewalk and bike trails.

Nice quiet location. Right on the Lakewalk trail. Great views of the lake. Free underground parking and bikes to use. Modest free breakfast, and popcorn and other treats in the afternoon. Convenience items in the lobby are overpriced. Will be back.

Beautiful location the rooms just need a little love. They are used hard and need some updates. I love Beacon Point I just think it is probably time to put some time into maintaining what makes this place special.
