Fitger's Inn

Staff was incredibly helpful. Room 406 - I mentioned to the staff that the material on the bench at the end of the king bed had deteriorated and was visible.

We have stayed here a few times before, it has always been great. The only thing I would have liked was a blow dryer in the room.

Super fun place to stay and kudo's for the shuttle service staff!

Wonderful and so much to do and see!!!

We wad a wonderful trip to Duluth and Fitger’s was a big part of that. It is in a cool part of Duluth that has a lot of cool things nearby including the Rose Garden and many good restaurants with stunning views. The staff of the hotel was great. Free minivan shuttle to anywhere!

Very pleasant atmosphere: helpful staff, very clean, excellent breakfast and dinner service. Also very convenient, free parking. Interesting history to the building, though the lobby could be a little brighter, more cheerful.

Breakfast was basically non existent. A cup of tea and a tangerine was not sufficient.

The room, amenities, staff, etc were excellent, as well as the location. The Boat House Restaurant was less than expected. The food and the menu definitely left something to be desired.

We found the property was a fun environment. We had a beautiful view of the lake and the place was extremely quiet. I cant wait to go back.

Entire stay was delightful. Room, staff, dining options - all first rate. Easy stroll to unique shopping and short drive to excellent hiking. Will be back to Duluth and definitely stay at Fitgers.

Parking around the marathon is a bit rough, but we made it!! Helpful valet!! Front desk and our maid too Thanks!!

Didn't have a chance to utilize, but they had a shuttle that would take you anywhere in Duluth city limits. A great service. Rooms were lovely and comfy!

Very comfortable and clean

We had a wonderful corner lake view room, with lovely views on two sides! Room was spotless, bed was comfy, staff was helpful and friendly. Well maintained and interesting historical building with restaurants and shopping. Beautiful lake walk right outside their doors, walking distance to Leif Erikson Park, the Rose Garden, and Canal park. Greatly enjoyed our stay!

We had such a wonderful time staying in this hotel, enjoying the restaurants and shopping at the boutiques!

Walking into the lobby it was very different, loved the charm. Entering the room it was impressive with high ceilings and color scheme made it look clean. As I looked around, there was dog hair on the couch, on pillows, on bed , and bed base. I was surprised that when I booked I wasn’t aware that dogs were allowed in building or if there was an option to get an animal free room. I was sneezing when in room, due to pet allergies. When going to bed I check bed for beg bugs, there was a bed bug cover on mattress which I appreciated but I could clearly see that one bed in room did have bed bugs in the past, as I could see many many blood spots that were on mattress inside the bed bug cover. It is an unique place to stay but this was my experience.
