Comfort Inn & Suites Durango

Pros 1.kind and helpful staff 2.good breakfast selection 3.well located Cons 1.swimming pool is very bad ,not maintained 2.breakfast time is till 10,however half of the things will be over post 8

The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. We never ran out of hot water. The pool and sauna were nice. There were cookies every afternoon, and popcorn every night, and lime and cucumber-infused ice water always available. The whole experience was very pleasant. We would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at the Comfort Inn at Durango for two nights/three days, and wasn't disappointed in the least. To start- I cannot possibly praise the staff too much. INCREDIBLY friendly, helpful, and competent. I travel frequently, and these individuals BY FAR were the most helpful that Ive encountered all year. The facility is very good. It's an older renovation and there are things that I frankly didn't love, BUT- it is clean, it was a perfect "base camp", the amenities were exceptional for the price, the pool looked very nice (didn't use it), the lobby area was very functional and friendly, breakfast was respectable, etc. So.... while it isn't a brand new modern facility- it was an excellent choice for a place to stay. The biggest negative of the entire property was the escalator- old, incredibly slow, etc.

They have a cookie station and popcorn machine which kids loved.

This is a very nice hotel with friendly staff. They have popcorn available in the evenings and their coffee is good. I would definitely recommend this hotel for travelers.

Clean room.

the shower curtain was about 6" too short and wouldn't stay inside the tub... the food was decent - but the breakfast area was very busy and they kept running out of eggs/potatoes etc... and most tables only had room for 3 people so chairs kept being moved about... the pool area did not look clean... both times I dealt with the front desk staff - I was impressed iwth their knowledge but both men had excessive beards... a huge turn off when dealing with what should be professional staff... over all - okay but a little pricey - but to be expected this time of year - this was one of the few motels that had vacancy for the period we needed... I would not have known except there was a sign at the front desk... how many don't read????

After a long day, I was ready for a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, the mattress was one of the hardest and most uncomfortable ones I've ever laid on in my life.

Loud noises from neighbors, tv on late both nights. Room smelled bad and had stains. Dirty and outdated/old furniture and ammenities. Super overpriced for the quality.

The room clean and beds comfortable. The staff was very unhelpful, they had no regular coffee, they said the shipment was delayed, but what I don’t understand if you know it’s been delayed the day before, why don’t you go out and buy some until it gets there. Also, I tried to check out. There was no one available. I came back three times when I asked someone they said the person should be there but made no effort to help me.
