Nice staff very helpful, clean rooms

I am not happy with the security charge that was added to my credit card during my stay that required me to ask for a refund. I do not agree with this policy, especially since it was processed as an actual charge rather than a temporary hold.

There used to be an older woman working the breakfast very upbeat. Maybe she retired? We stay at Comfort Inn 4 times a year its gotten very expensive.

The room was clean and neat. Plenty of washcloths and towels. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would have preferred regular creamer to what they offered with breakfast. Lots of choices for breakfast.

Breakfast was great, rooms were clean and it was quiet. Front desk was very helpful.

Check in was slow only because one staff person left the other to deal with 6 guests trying to check in at once. The room was cool, the bed was comfortable but, it smelled like three dogs needing a bath just left. I used Lysol and it didn’t help. Breakfast was terrible. Everything was cold and this was at 8 am. I was disappointed in this stay. The only reason I’m giving it a 3 is because of the friendliness of the young lady who checked me in.

Also the refrigerator leaked and had to be turned off the next day, was not useable. The desk staff was very nice and helpful.

First night the stopper in the sink broke. Asked for maintenance as the sink would not drain. Their “fix” was to remove the stopper completely, which allowed the sink to leak from below. No additional efforts were made to correct the problem during my three nights stay. I put the ice bucket underneath the sink to avoid the sink water from draining onto the bathroom floor.

Doug, the staff member who checked us in was friendly, helpful and efficient. Our check-in went smoothly and quickly. The room was nice - the bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. The room was very quiet throughout the night. Definitely a stay again.

We had dog hair in the bathroom (on the 3rd floor which was supposed to be pet-free), we had black hair in our sheets, the shower gel was empty, there was a long black hair on the back of the bathroom sink (I have long blonde hair), the mirrors were not clean, and breakfast was empty. Won’t stay here again.

Motel was quiet, bed was comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. Seemed a little shabby though.

Rooms were not as cleanly as we thought food from previous stays still on the floor, comforter was dirty, hair in the bathroom. Staff was pleasant when checking and out.

Room was clean. Coffee maker lid ws broken. Breakfast was served cold.

This was a little bit away from downtown Durango but we were only staying one night. We had spent time in Durango previously so didn't need to see downtown again. It is close to the train station. The breakfast bar was really good, there was popcorn and cookies in the evening.
