The two queen sized rooms are a little snug both room width x room length. The closet at the room door gives you very little room to maneuver. The hotel front desk staff were good, Breakfast was not well tended to. No coffee was refilled even after asking the person responsible for the breakfast food service.

Complimentary breakfast is pretty good with better-than-average coffee and pleasant seating adjacent to the lobby. We did not check out the pool or spa. Best feature of this location is its proximity (~50 yards) from the Animas River walking path. Our dog and I both loved this walk every morning and evening and we met numerous friendly folks (and a few deer and prairie dogs) along the way.

Great property and good staff
-
Very clean, good breakfast, easy to find. nice hot tub.
-
Breakfast was cold and incomplete. The person responsible for serving breakfast had not arrived by 6:40 am when we left/

The property was in good shape. The breakfast wasn’t awesome our first day. The second day a little better.

The hotel is nice and the breakfast is good but the fire alarms kept going off in the night.

The room was clean a bit old. The mattress was the worse mattress I have ever slept on in a hotel. I sunk in at least 8 to 12 ins when you ladies on it. I felt I was in a ditch. It had absolutely no support. The room had a bad smoke smell. There was a horrible noise all night long. It sounded like someone opening and closing a closet door .

Booked for two nights. First night at midnight and next morning at 7am issues with smoke alarms going off several times and being reset. Second night from 10-10:30pm smoke alarms again going off and keeping us up a second night

The staff didn’t really seem to care that much and we’re very slow in the check-in process. The pool was also not close for maintenance. The light was out of the pool. There were also no towels that were stocked at the pool as well. We have stayed at this La Quinta several times when visiting Duran Durango and this is the first time that it’s ever been in such terrible shape.

Good stay.

Hotel manager and staff were great. Hotel is in a perfect location too.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years and have been very happy. The last two years that we have stayed the service has been lacking. If you're staying only one night you're fine. If you stay for more than one-night, good luck in getting clean towels, your trash emptied or your bed changed. The excuses we have been given is that they don't have enough towels because people take them, or enough housekeeping staff. I will say that the housekeeping staff work very hard. These people are doing everything they can to get the job done. I commend them for all their hard work. I do blame management. We were told by local management that it wasn't Wyndham Hotel's policy to service your room each day. If that is true, I'm very disappointed with the Wyndham brand.

Bad consumer service,

I enjoyed my stay, it was very close the river for a nice walk. I enjoyed breakfast every morning, very quiet location.
-
Room was clean, breakfast leaves a lot to be desired with no meat our first day and no fruit. I can’t eat eggs so carbs were the only option, Broken glass under our vehicle that we ran right over the night before in the dark. Friendly staff.
