Sleep Inn Durango

What a wonderful stay! The room was absolutely spotless and perfect after a very long day of driving. The beds and pillows were so comfortable, and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. I called the front desk earlier from Ridgway to confirm my room and let them know that I was driving down from Aspen and would be arriving late because of the fire situation. Iris was so kind and reassuring on the phone, and just as welcoming when I finally arrived. Check-in was incredibly quick and easy, and Iris took the time to tell me about nearby food options even though it was late. The room even had a microwave, which was such a convenient touch, especially since frozen meals were available for purchase in the downstairs lobby if we needed something quick. After such a long day on the road, Iris’s kindness and the beautifully clean, comfortable, well-equipped room were exactly what I needed. I would absolutely stay here again!

Good location and very clean

From the second you walk through the doors, the first thing you notice is how incredibly clean everything is. It doesn't just look clean—it feels crisp, fresh, and meticulously maintained from the lobby to the farthest corner of the hallways. The rooms are immaculate, featuring comfortable beds, spotless bathrooms, and a bright, welcoming layout that makes it easy to unwind after a long day of exploring. It is clear that the housekeeping and management staff take massive pride in keeping this property in showroom condition. The location is another massive win. It sits in a brilliant sweet spot: far enough out of the immediate downtown core to avoid the heavy traffic, parking headaches, and premium price tags, yet close enough that you can get to the heart of downtown Durango in just a few minutes. It gives you the perfect, quiet basecamp to retreat to at night. Plus, the sheer convenience of the layout is tough to beat. Having a Walmart literally one block away is a lifesaver for grabbing quick road trip supplies, snacks, or anything you might have forgotten to pack, making the logistics of your stay effo

Friendly/helpful staff

Room was spacious and very clean. Hot breakfast available. Pool & spa was nice after long travel.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was average with limited selections for hot foods - bacon and scrambled eggs. A good value for the room price overall.

The staff called ahead to let us know the elevator was out of service and check to see if a 2nd or 3rd floor room was going to work for us. I appreciated the heads up.

Comfortable, good location, breakfast was very good. The elevator did not work. Made it hard on my wife to climb to the second floor.

Everything was great and nice location outside of downtown Durango. The elevator wasn’t working at time of our stay but staff was helpful and accommodating as much as they could.

Creeking all night and heard walking. Kept us us most the night. Connecting door would not lock.

Clean, modern, they have a laundry room and pool (the latter needs some tlc! Rooms were a good size. Free parking. Pool needs some work but everything else was great.

The hotel was nice and clean.

Listen we love Durango and everything about it. The staff at the hotel are all fantastic. Nice comfy room, water pressure was lacking a bit but I prepared By bringing a leave in conditioner for my hair. Coffee all day long is a big time plus for me. Got my steps in bc the elevator was broke. No biggie. The nice front desk guy offered to help with bags but I have 2 guys to help me already. Thanks for the wonderful time in Durango !

Location, clean, employees nice and attentive. Broken elevator for our 4 night stay

It suited the purpose of a clean comfortable room. The breakfast wasn’t great, but covered enough bases to do the trick. The elevator was broken, so a pain with luggage, but these things happen. Breakfast could be better. Elevator broken.

Comfortable room. Pet friendly.

Everything was great. Everything is clean.
