The breakfast was amazing! Everything was hot and fresh. Chef was very attentive and appears to really love his job. The front desk staff were very kind and offered local suggestions on local placea to eat. The room was clean and a/c worked great.

By far, the best part of our experience at the Super 8 Durango was breakfast each morning which included a special curated menu that was also cooked and maintained by Chef Matt. There's no question that this was one of the best complimentary breakfasts I'd encountered at any Super 8 or any hotel of this level. Chef Matt was also very friendly and accommodating and clearly seemed to enjoy his job. All things that made it even better than expected! On the negative side, there was one primary issue that kept me from giving a top rating: Parking lot lighting. The light facing the west side of the lot behind the hotel was nearly out, and it was VERY DARK after sunset. Although I didn't feel completely unsafe, it was an issue when it came to navigating the lot both in the car and on foot. Otherwise, the air conditioning was a slight issue, but considering the unseasonable weather, I assume it would have been fine in normal summer conditions. Overall, we had a good stay and would return in the future!

Very friendly staff and great breakfast. Call ahead if you have a trailer for parking instructions if possible as you can't drive around the hotel. Over wonderful stay.

The next morning I desperately needed something, I called the front desk and Rhiannon answered and brought me what was needed. When we checked out, Rhiannon greeted me. She was so polite. Didn’t get breakfast as I slept too late. But they had a nice size area for breakfast. I was very happy with this stay. Highly recommended.

Staying at the property was wonderful. I encountered a small issue with the electronic door key; it did not work on the second day, and I had to go to the reception to fix it. However, I believe this is not a regular problem.

Good price, good location, and a friendly, helpful staff.

It was easy to get to, the room was hot when we got there, the thermostat was 10 degree's off, the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work, and the electrical outlet didn't work by the sink either, the parking lot was also pretty tight to park in,but the help was excellent specially the maids who tighty up the room while we were gone.

I didn’t walk barefoot on it. The stains were numerous. Other than that the soda machine was about empty. The price of the room was reasonable.

Everything was clean, quiet, and welcoming for four, soaked hikers coming in off the Purgatory trailhead returning from Chicago Basin. Breakfast was better than expected and included hot items. A laundry was available so we could start getting our soaked items washed to avoid mildew, and the staff was *super* helpful and friendly. Topped off with some fresh made mountain thunder lemonade in the lobby before heading to the airport. Would stay here again.

Older property. Definitely needs some updating.
