Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Paul Eagan

The location was great, spacious rooms, beds seemed new and comfortable The cleanliness of our hotel room was questionable at best. The shower head was terrible and with having long hair had a hard time washing my hair. The pool is TINY with a MAX OCCUPANCY of 8 people (that’s insane) the pictures are the definition of looks can be deceiving. Staff were not friendly or even smiled when my family and I walked past. The only kind one was an overnight worker when I happened to need something at the desk late into the evening. Smell of wet dog or wet towels outside of my room, and the air conditioning unit was impossible to work, and your unable to keep the fan running on constant. Overall I would not stay here again; just wasn’t worth the price at all.

Very clean and comfortable environment, walking distance to outlet mall, friendly staff, willing to get breakfast started early for our needs. Very, very small pool, breakfast started later than expected, 7 am, having to pay additional for parking.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful! Hotel was clean. Elevators were quiet and quick! Parking lot was easy to get in and out. Hotel room was the problem. Light in the bathroom would go out while I was in the Shower. Bed mattress needs to be replaced. The light switches next to the bed could only be turned off if you got up out of bed. Lighting was bordering on poor. Refrigerator had no freezer section.

It was a great location.

the breakfast was not good at all. No protein available in any form. Not even peanut butter was available.

We had to pay to park on the lot. I was not informed of that prior to the stay. Too many fees for staying there.

Location next to the Outlet Mall was great. Bee was comfortable. Large flat screen TV with limited streaming, Very loud HVAC system. Sounded like water was running all the time even when the AC or heat fan was off. Motion light in the bathroom is annoying, Night light is enough to find switches if needed. Shower door not level and wouldn’t stay closed.

N/A When I reserved the hotel - it says free wifi. But I learned I had to pay for it. Please be sure that the information on website is accurate.

Coffee was good. Room was spacious and comfortable. Swimming pool was tiny. Bike in gym was clunky, not a spin bike. Breakfast food was too processed.
