Hilton Garden Inn Edison/Raritan Center

The hotel was fine. Room was clean. However, in the hallway it smelled really bad. Like feet. And I think it’s from the old carpet they have. Definitely needs a rework

Breakfast was not included for our deal. It would have been $18 per person.

Excepting reception and breakfast area-which we didn't try-the property is outdated, especially corridors and elevators with rooms okay. Its conveniently located to transportation (easy on/off) and a dense commercial area. Stayed 2 days, used only to sleep, which perhaps accounts for the lack of updates. Okay business travellers and those just passing through.

It’s an okay hotel overall, and the stay was decent. However, one thing that stood out was a strong burnt electrical/circuit-like smell throughout the hotel. The odor was noticeable in the hallways, lobby, and even in the common restrooms, which made the environment feel less pleasant. I hope the management looks into the issue, as addressing it would greatly improve the guest experience.

Very good experience

Hot water not working properly in the shower, water spilled all over the floor, and should not assume guests like the handicapped bathroom. Terrible for a handicapped if cannot regulate the water temperature.

Everything is outdated and old from the small tv in the room to the old carpets that had stain. The room smelled like cigarettes. I booked so I could take my son to the pool but I definetly wouldn't come back.

Property was neat and well maintained. Staff was all very nice. Rooms were clean and breakfast was very good.

The room was amazing. The people were great not to say that much about breakfast. It was you had to pay for breakfast. I think that if you were a diamond member and you had a room there breakfast to a certain point should be free.

This Hilton needs a major upgrade. The carpets are a mess. Stains, bumps and major wear and tear. The curtains in the room are ripped. Shower was at best luke-warm, and the towels, please they were just a small step up from a hand towel. It will be a long time before I take a chance on a Hilton.

I expected better from a Hilton hotel. This should be classified as 2-star. The guest floor hallways were dirty, with dings and dents on doors and walls. The guest room was disappointing. The TV was quite small. The bathroom smelled of urine. The bathroom also lacked an exhaust fan, which should be standard. There was ample parking, which was welcome. While walking outside at night, I noticed that several letters in the facade were not lighted. That makes the property instantly look cheap and questionable.

Staff can do a better job when addressing the room is not available or ready when checking in. The attitude definitely needs improvement. Fill in clean towels at the pool, and make sure the door to the pool works. Saw a bug in the room, disgusting.
