The motel itself was all good but if your a light sleeper it is so close to the expressway the traffic noise ALL night was terrible.

Bed wasn’t comfortable at all woke up with a stiff back. Outdated bathrooms and chairs inside rooms.

The place was nice & clean, comfy bed... wouldn't recommend room 103... it was a great location... but the outdoor spot light shined in the room... the room darkening drapes helped some but don't cover the whole window... put some pants on the window ledge to help block the light... it did.. hot tub was clean... the pool was freezing! Overall though.. nice place

The road noise from the highway was absolutely horrid. I didn't get any sleep whatsoever. We will likely stay in Effingham a couple more times this year and are going to make it a point to get further from the highway.

Used my cell phone white noise on volume 10 and could still hear the traffic! Older hotel but kept up well inside, outside is another story. Trash overflowing on front porch and in landscaping. Guests sitting around front porch area smoking. Treadmill on front porch! Lobby & breakfast areas were very clean. My room was very clean. There were some rust stains and wear items in the bathroom simply due to age. Staff varied from simply efficient to extremely friendly going above and beyond to help.
