The Quality Inn Effingham North hotel is located off Interstate 70 and Interstate 57, close to several area attractions including Lake Sara, the Mid America Corvette Museum, K Square Outlet Mall and Eastern Illinois University. The Ballard Nature Center, an 80-acre wetland, is only a short drive way. A variety of restaurants and cocktail lounges can be found close to the hotel. Stopped in for a one night stay while passing through. The facility was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely stay there again if in the area and needed a place to stay.

The bed was very comfortable, but we stayed for the pool but the water was so cold I couldn’t get in. My husband did for a couple of minutes but he got out it was cold. We had to endure some kids in room above us running back n forth, it was loud. Our main purpose to stay was to use the pool and that didn’t happen so yeah I’m disappointed. But the room was clean. Unfortunately we won’t stay here again. We live 18 miles away and was not worth it for us, but if you are just looking for a nice room it would work for you.

Hot tub closed. Pool didn’t look very well filtered but we swam anyways. King bed was nice. But the pull out couch was like twin sized. One kid had to sleep on the floor. The tv selection was awesome, movie channels. Breakfast was yummy.

Room was clean, in quiet area of hotel. The hot breakfast was good. Nice place for a stop on long road trip.

Easy access of the interstate. Staff was courteous and the pool was a great to unwind. The breakfast was a great for traveling. Bathroom could have been a little bigger but it was adequate

Breakfast, staff working front desk and food area at same time. Seem to be always running out of food in some stations. No oil for waffles which sticked to iron.

It was an OK place to sleep. The rooms weren't very clean, and it smelled. Breakfast was limited. Staff was friendly and accommodating. There was no elevator.

Clean, very comfortable rooms. The staff was very helpful. Check in was easy. Good location and easy to get to just off the interstate. Breakfast had a variety of items and was very good. Hot items included sausage and eggs. There was also a waffle maker and other items including fruits and juices.

The shower head could have been 6-10 inches higher, but I understand.
