AC Hotel by Marriott Los Angeles South Bay

Checkin was a long wait and then they asked me to stand aside since my hotel room class was all full-they finally found me a room (last room on 2nd floor-wasn’t in great shape) Location was okay-but couldn’t walk anywhere Wouldn’t stay there again-not a typical AC experience

Very close to and convenient access to LAX. Front desk staff was very helpful despite the fact a room wouldn’t be ready for us until 4:00pm The breakfast buffet was way overpriced at $24.00. It was only a slight improvement over the free breakfast we got a day earlier, for free, at a Comfort Suites. The croissants and cinnamon sticks were hard. The freshly made eggs were the only improvement but still just scrambled eggs.

I liked the option they have EV charging, the front staff friendly. clean property overall. easy area to get around and very central to me. I have stayed here twice when I visit LA. Really accommodating overall. I came in 2020 when the property was fairly new, I came back this year and was very disappointed to see the conditions the rooms were in specifically the bathrooms. the floors are all lifted, our bathroom sliding door was so hard to move, there was a random white creme or stain on the curtains, countertop vanities are broken and not replaced. On my last night my family had to change rooms because our shower randomly flooded the floors below us and they tried to mention we flooded it when that wouldn't be possible because none of the 3 days we stayed did we ever flood the place. the tech said its not their pipes but us showering...makes no sense since he didn't even open up any walls or remove anything in the shower ( I'm in the construction field) anyways, having to pack up sooner than expected to move rooms wasn't ideal especially to have another room with another unkept outdated bathroom! I asked for more towels at the desk and the person working gave me a stack of towels to carry back to my room (like more than 8 towels) when I wasn't even planning to go back up. Overall the place is nice but the rooms aren't being upkept with which broke my trust because i wanted this place to be my go to when I come to LA.

Good looking hotel that needs some upkeep. Room had broken light switch, bathroom fan broken, room safe broken. Roof top bar just ok no ambience. Bottom floor outdoor bar very nice, relaxing. Bathroom amenities don’t exist. No cotton balls; no q tops, no makeup mirror, only one bar of hand soap and of course good body gel and quality shampoo/conditioner. Good location.

Close to airport. I'm over glass sliding doors on bathrooms. Can we all agree on that? It is fake fancy.

Exceptional

A great stay for business professionals when in town close to LAX! Parking is affordable (you may find street parking if you arrive early) and rooms are clean, spacious and priced well. Close to shopping and walkable to eateries. Staff is friendly and accommodating!

Everything exceeded my expectations—from the cleanliness to the excellent service and the peaceful atmosphere. I truly felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable experience. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for such wonderful hospitality!

This was our second time at staying at the property. Right off the beaten path, it a stones throw from everything. Nice and clean, well maintained, and affordable
