Clean room daily housekeeping plus buffet breakfast

The hotel was great and we were very happy that we have chosen it for our 4 nights stand, when visiting LA. The hotel and rooms are very clean ( at least our was) and very comfortable. We were a family of five and have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room with brand new and comfortable sleeping sofa and a kitchenette with a big fridge. The breakfast was nice (not as good as European due to lack of vegies, but very decent) and the choice was good. Based on experience from other (good) hotels in the US, we did not have very high expectations for a breakfast and we were nicely surprised actually. Also, in the reception area there was filtered coffee and tea available 24/7, which was super convenient. Staff was attentive and very nice. Location was good, we felt vey safe there and there were shops around (some even in the walking distance). We absolutely loved Manhattan beach and its surroundings, lovely place both during the day and in the evening (sunset, beach, pier, restaurants, etc), The pool looked very nice and clean, but we had no time to use it :) Overall we highly recommend it! Everything was great!

Staff Really nice, clean rooms.

It seemed more like a 1.5 star hotel. Things were sketchy and probably aren’t to code. It seems maintained just enough for someone to sleep there. Glad we were only there for one night. We had no hot water and had to wait for an hour. We told them right away, and they responded quick. We just had to wait for the boiler. Why was it off in the first place? Nice staff. Just the place itself should not be rated 3 stars. Expected more from the Hyatt.

Fairly decent breakfast, I had 2-bed apartment, which was clean and spacious. bedrooms are separated by the main room and each has its own bathroom. Pillows were not very comfortable though. Hotel is 5 min walk to supermarkets and food and even closer to metro k-line. There was no kettle. Pillows not good.

They canceled our reservation without notice. Showed up at 12am for our room to find out our room had been sold. Ran card 24hr in advance came back as fraud so just canceled without and warning.

Safe location Nothing to mention Bad about property

Very spacious. I had a room in the guest house which was just upstairs from lobby and buffet breakfast. Buffet breakfast was very good. Near lots of transportation options and grocery store.

It was in a nice location. It almost felt like we were staying at a apartment instead of a hotel. It was very roomy and clean.

Great location close to the airport. There’s a Trader Joe’s and Erowan just across the street and other shops. The room was spacious and clean. The only thing about this place is that there are no elevators So just be able to bring your luggage up and down stairs. Kale at the front desk was so nice and hospitable! Our stay included breakfast which had a good selection of items. I’d stay here again

Evelyn and the staff were great! We were always greeted with smile and welcomed. The room could use updating but was nice and cozy and perfect for our needs. The location is also close to LAX and offers several dining and grocery options within walking distance.

The main downside was the remodeling. Saturday morning was very loud with early hammering and construction, there was no work on Sunday. I was also disappointed with the customer service regarding late checkout. I was told Sunday night to call at 8 a.m. Monday, which I did, only to be told all late checkouts were already taken and then abruptly hung up on. Some areas around the property could also use better cleanup. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few issues that could be improved.

Only thing missing is an elevator

The property is very good, well kept, easy parking (they charge $20), easy check-in, close to the airport and to the beach (by car). We had a 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, with a kitchen, a good and comfortable space. Apartment was very clean, beds were big and comfortable. Air con worked properly. Nice pool. The breakfast could be improved a bit, but it was sufficient. Price was fair. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly book again.

Elevators need better maintenance only one in service upon arrival

Rooms were very clean, would stay here again. Bed was super comfortable! Daily house cleaning was great. Surrounding area had plenty of shops and restaurants and proximity to Downtown L.A. made it very convenient.
