Relax Inn Elmira

The price was definitely more reasonable than hotels in Corning and room was clean enough, but bathroom definitely needs better maintenance. Nice grassy sitting area off of parking lot. No coffee or other food available, but a Panera and Starbucks were nearby for breakfast.

This was one of the filthiest motels I've ever stayed in. There had obviously been a flood. The flooring was replaced but nothing else. The baseboard and bottom of the furniture was stolen from water damage. Probably starting to mold

Bathroom needed a few upgrades.

Room was clean. Outdated bathroom but clean, easy check in. One complaint, there were two moths, but possibly they followed me in

Whole room was very dirty and smelled of smoke so bad we got headaches.

The picture made it look habitable. It wasn't. I was so uncomfortable that I moved a bedside table against the door. I really didn't feel safe. I was NOT going to shower there. The toilet was the height of a Kindergarten toilet. The bed was not comfortable, but I was exhausted. I wasn't able to fall asleep once the construction crew guests quit slamming doors. Save your sanity and go somewhere else

Very clean. Comfortable room. Great location in the center of everything and 15 minutes from Corning glass museum. Quiet. Restaurants and shopping nearby. Nice staff. Great price!

The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the beds were comfortable — I had some of the best sleep I’ve had while traveling. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip!

Excellent location

No food or drink options, dead bugs on floors, bathroom mat dirty, beds squeaked when sleeping, walls had cracks and scrapes, door did not fit properly in the frame, additional charges at check in, tried to overcharge me for the room, bathroom walks above shower were wet, bathtub spigots were half hanging out, unable to turn off water in bathtub/shower…this place was a complete dump

Outside clean and well-kept. Room has Tv, microwave, refrigerator, all relatively new. Also excellent air conditioner. The room itself was very clean, but the sink,bathtub and toilet are all pretty worn - could use an update.

I have never paid extra 10 percent fee after booking through hotels.com. ridiculous

The motel cancelled my reservation without calling me and left me with no place to stay. They gave my reservation away and were "sold out" when I tried to check-in.

There is an extra 10% fee on top of the price I already paid on Booking.com? You must be kidding me. They originally charged me 30% extra and told me this is a surcharge. I immediately reported to Booking customer service. Thanks to the CS, the hotel side admitted that they overcharged me, but still charged me 10%. I can feed the homeless with that 10%. Every one else should pay attention to their tricks. Don’t be scammed.

The description on Expedia didn't do it justice. There was a very nice midsize refrigerator and a microwave. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I was disappointed in was that they tried to charge me an extra 10% fee over the price I paid Expedia when I checked in. The clerk said she would ask about taking it off and they did not pursue it so far. The desk clerk was pleasant and courteous. They made up the room without me asking! Motel was just a few minutes from the airport but was peaceful and seemed safe.

The room smelled of ciggarettes.
