Quality Inn Elyria

The room was clean but needed some help. The bathroom door wouldn't close, the hook was missing. The back of the hotel was cluttered with debris. The breakfast was just okay. But the clerk who checked us in was wonderful. Extremely pleasant. Went out of her way to be helpful. She gets A+.

Last minute reservation was accommodated, room was clean and comfortable, staff were excellent and the hotel was quiet. Not many frills, but it was still a very good stay. Great location, the air conditioning unit worked well and wasn't loud or uneven in holding the temp (outside was in the 90s.) I was checked into my room in less than 5 minutes, both front clerks were polite and helpful. I'll be back!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable

pretty clean for an older hotel the bed was super hard, almost like sleeping on plywood after the second day. The bathroom ceiling was popcorned and everytime we came back there was paint chips from the ceiling everywhere in the bathroom and outside the bathroom

Nothing special Breakfast

Overall and great breakfast choices. Electronic door-lock was temperamental. The door handle was sticking and keep the electronic lock from recognizing the key. Operating the lock required a "touch" to work successfully.

This place is HORRIBLE!!!! The room was dirty and smelled of smoke. The floor needed to be vacuumed and we were offered a vacuum to do it ourself. The refrigerator didn’t work. From the moment we got into the room my elderly grandmother was coughing and couldn’t stop until we checked out and left. We were in the room for 15 mins and checked out!!! Thankfully we were refunded all of our money so we could find somewhere else to stay.

Room a good size with desk, dresser, couch, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, single cup coffee maker. Wi-Fi was good, TV worked well, good water flow in shower, plenty of electric outlets, pillows and bed were comfortable Had to wiggle plug for microwave, lights would flicker if bumped, coffee maker had used coffee in it and did not turn on easily

Won’t stay again in that hotel

Very pleasant and helpful manager. Property is rather worn but looks and smells clean. Comfortable bed and good sheets. Decent breakfast. Did what we needed for an overnight stay on a road trip.

The rest of the hotel was disappointing. Not well maintained, not clean, didn’t smell that great. The breakfast was very minimal - basically waffles and cereal.

I also thought there was no smoking anywhere on the premises, but someone was smoking right outside the entrance doors as guests were coming in. Also I did request a non-smoking room, but when my wife and I were exiting our room the next morning to check out, the hallway was filled with cigarette smoke and my wife is a heart failure patient. No smoking needs to be enforced.

The friendly staff and the location The Continental breakfast needs more attention and different options. Most did not have utensils to get items out such as bread and bagels. Waffle mix had an unpleasant taste

We love this hotel. Never had any issues. It's very quiet and private. Staff is friendly and accommodating. We'll continue to be repeat stayers.

The bed and the room were OK, but the rest of the facility was definitely subpar. The ice machine, vending beverage machine were not working. The morning buffet was virtually empty, not even coffee. Definitely would not recommend this place.
