2. Room #2 the door was loud with air coming from the bottom. There was no door sweep to stop the air. Garbage disposal didn’t work, the view was the peak for the hotel lobby and the TVs didn’t work. Had too move change rooms AGAIN. 3. 3rd room was cool. Everything worked but the ice maker didn’t n the kitchen but hey can’t win em all. Jose at the front desk felt our pain and worked out room. ***I think I’m going to try the sister hotel next door from now on. HYATT PLACE. Hyatt House is going old and not well maintained.

This was our second time at this establishment and both times we have been very pleased. Very nice accommodations. Close to Amtrak train station. Close to Public Market. Close to walking trails near the marina. Thursday farmers market in the adjacent parking lot. All positives.

We arrived on Amtrak and used the elevator and walkway from the train station as my 101 year old mother is in a wheelchair. Wish there had been a restaurant with more than just sandwiches for the evening so we didn’t have to go out and about at night.

The lawn before the hotel is terrible and dry, like a desert area! Ugly! Like a building in a poor area! But the room is excellent!

Breakfast had a big variety. Hot and cold options bagels, egg. Plenty of protein. Cereals. Oatmeal

Came here about 15years ago and the stay is much nice then some of the stays over in that area. I find it a weird that they charge to park outside and no security guards to watch the cars. But that’s how life goes.

The staff was great and extremely helpful! The entire hotel was well maintained and CLEAN, including the laundry area, the ice machine and the community dining and drinking area. There is one "office chair" to sit in. Would have preferred a comfortable side chair in the room. Eating on the nice clean white bedding of a king sized bed is not appealing and the other person uses the table and chair. It would have improved the comfort of the room even though the room was comfortably on the smaller size.

So easy to jump on the California Zephyr

The staff didn't explain anything about the hotel amenities (breakfast, pool, etc.). When I asked about breakfast time and location, they just pointed at a pillar and told me to read it myself. Very unfriendly. If they had just told me kindly, it would have been a much better experience.

Overall we were happy with our stay.

The room was modern, comfortable and clean. The view from the room was mesmerizing. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Enjoyed the stay and would recommend. The only issue was with the microwave in room. It didn't heat, told the staff and they suggested having maintenance look at it. We were on our way to a concert so we declined.

Everything Nothing

Good hotel. Some staff very friendly. One was not so friendly but it was ok.

Decent Breakfast, parking was decent, parking lot needs maintenance, unfortunately the restaurant and bar were not open during our stay but the Emeryville Public Market with various choices of places to eat is an easy walk away.

We spent five days at the Hyatt House and were totally impressed! Quick check in upon arrival, fantastic little apartment style accommodation, complete with living area, kitchenette, good size bedroom and bright clean bathroom. Everything was super clean, and we had the most comfortable bed ever! Our 7th floor room had a sliding door with a tiny balcony. Wish we would have had a couple chairs there even though it was very small... Just a nice extra touch. Very quiet room as well, as we never heard a peep or a thump from our neighbors next door, above, or below. We were really impressed with the Hyatt brand. You just may have stolen us away from our tried and true regular hotel chain.

We stayed at a one-bedroom suite with a kitchenette and a living room. It was fantastic. The kitchen was well equipped with silverware, cutlery, full size refrigerator, plates and glasses. Two huge televisions. Generous storage. There is a Trader Joe's nearby for groceries. VERY reasonable price! We will be back.
