As I came in late I requested a late check-out and was denied. To that end I had to store bags with the front desk (there was no concierge). The front desk people were completely discombobulated…. I had to store 5 bags and they would only give me 4 tickets (Evan after I pointed out the situation). Upon return, we had family meeting up at the same time there were bags coming out - so confusion - and apparently we got 4 bags back from the very same front desk ladies who took our bags. Later, on my way to a giant birthday party (mine), I had to drive 50 mins round trip to retrieve my 5th bag…. No apologies from the hotel … so seeming accountability. I will NEVER stay at this hotel in Emeryville again (it’s old and dumpy) and will always choose the newer and more recent hotels (who actually show care to their clients).
