Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott - Emporia

The staff is amazing! We really had a Great time!

We were traveling across a few states to see family. Traffic and weather were tough so we had to stop for the night on Saturday. The woman working reception was very respectful and accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. However the young gentleman we dealt with Sunday morning was snarky and sarcastic in his demeanor and responses. Caught me off guard. Not excepted or appreciated.

My shower was dirty and found with used soap bar. I showed video to front clerk and she verified. I was then given another room. The front door handle was filthy. The room looked old and outdated. I was not comfortable at this hotel at all.

Clean room, comfortable bed, easy parking, and exceptional breakfast!

It was clean and well maintained.

Good location, clean facilities They only clean the rooms every other day but don’t tell you that until you enquirer.

Out dated, hot tub didn't work.

The young lady on the desk was excellent. Then in the morning I was greeted by 2 employees. You have a very friendly staff. The shower finally figured out how to it on.

Easy access off highway and has all that you need.

Location The rooms were disgusting. The bathroom was so dirty and I have pictures. The rug was definitely not vacuumed at all. The comforter had to be changed because it had blood stains. I actually witnessed the cleaning person not cleaning properly and finished a room without vacuuming at all. It's disgusting

It was good. Freshly scrambled eggs, sausage, decent bakery goods. The coffee was hot and quite good and the person serving was delightful. Computer system was down at check in and check out. It affected everything. In these new times, the computer should never go down. A backup system should exist. Weather was fine - that wasn't the issue. The deadbolt on the door was not working - had to try repeatedly to get in and then again, to be able to close the door fully on leaving - the bolt would not retract. This location hasn't had an upgrade in a while. The price is too high for the lack of upkeep.

Great location, the staff were great upon check in and both rooms were very clean. The breakfast was basic but very much appreciated before hitting the road again.
