Red Roof Inn Plus & Suites Erie

It was a refurbished property. The location of the property was not ideal. It is good for a night stay if you are on a road trip. Everything else is subpar.

Room was clean and had plenty of room for 5 people. Only issue I had was elevator button did not work

Very clean and spacious for the price It's nice having carpet floors and the bathtub was in desperate need of new caulk and a very deep cleaning. I stayed 1 night but I'd have never used the bathtub

Don’t be so quick to judge by the curb appeal yeah you sirens constantly because hospital is near by but it was nice stayinues the beds the mattresses are not comfortable by any means and if you want a good place to eat big bar is good

A blow dryer in the rooms would be a nice addition

Not much to like. This hotel is in really rough shape. I have no idea how it was given the score it had, or how it could possibly be a Red Roof Plus, which we trusted to be accurate. It’s located in a rough neighborhood. The hotel grounds are not well maintained, large pieces of paint are falling from the ceilings in the walk ways and just left on the ground. The container on the shower wall for shampoo was empty. There was a coffee machine in the room but no coffee. And the coffee that was available in the lobby was horrible. We didn’t even want to stay there but they would not refund our money, claiming it was inside the 24 hours cancellation period. What a scam! You somehow get a good rating on the booking site, people book a room, then show up and find out the hotel is NOT what it was represented to be, and you’re out of luck. I’m not happy with this Red Roof hotel nor Booking.com. I won’t use either ever again!

Hotel was great area it was in not so much. All night heard police sirens/ambulance and cars reving their engines did not sleep much

Clean room! Outside looks sketchy

Upgraded interior was nice. It was more modern then the building. The doors locked to keep people out of the various floors. The stairs were throughout the building. They were clean and accessible. Go locked out of the building when trying to use the elevator. Could not get back in and key card did not work the majority of the time on the outside doors. The locks to the Stairs were not working so people could access the various floors without a key card.

Everything was clean and it was very convenient to be able to sleep the whole family in one suite.

I didnt like that you had to go outside no matter where you were going, 3ven the lobby. Our floors in our room weren't the cleanest. Our feet were very dirty just from walking around the room for awhile. Shampoo and conditioner were empty. Same with hand soap. The housekeepers definitely dont do a good job.

The beds looked comfy Within 5 minutes of being in the room there was spiders crawling on the ceiling and a couple of bugs in the curtains. We packed up and left.
