Red Roof Inn PLUS+ & Suites Erie

I was sceptical of staying at a motel 6 , but this was very nice rooms were clean.

Front desk was very nice and helpful, made it a smooth check in and out

When we got there, the room was dirty and dusty. The floor was dirty, the curtains had white spot on them, some bedings were stained and many surfaces had dust on thwm, especially in the kitchen area. Housekeeping did not make it better troughout the week. We ended up buying a mop and a broom to wash the floor. The only thing housekeeping did was to pick up the trash and change the towels. On a plus side, the beds were really comfortable and people at the front desk were helpful.

The staff at the desk were all very polite and helpful.

Property and room very dirty. Horrible location in the city, very dangerous. Room had human hairs throughout on the sinks, shower and floor. Only two towels, no hand towel or shower mat. I have never stayed at a place this bad and it was a horrible experience.

Hmmm… well it’s only a place to put your head at night. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

The property isn’t in the best condition and our room was not very clean. The floor in our room was dirty. There were sticky spots on it and there was dirt around the edges of the bathroom. It was nice to have a kitchen in the room, but I felt like I needed to wipe it down before I used it (which I did). There was dust on some surfaces. The bedding and towels were clean, though. The location of the hotel it good and the staff were friendly.

The staff at the front desk was very disrespectful..MY you was nice but I found a bug in my bed and took it on a napkin to the front desk the were supposed to document it for someone to know I took a picture and showed the morning attendant and they did nothing about it..So I will never recommend this place in Erie west 18th NEVER!!!

Hotel propre

Clean rooms. Staff was very nice. Close to Presque isle and downtown Erie. Definitely would choose this hotel again. Nothing to see as you stand on the balcony area but we did see some men peeing (this isn't fault of the hotel as it was off their property) just not very nice to see. Probably wouldn't feel safe walking around this hotel at night.

Staff was wonderful. Room was clean. In room coffee was surprisingly good. 6 of the 8 USB chargers didn’t work. Shower was a bit odd and not much pressure. Snack box was appreciated. Would stay here again.

Went for a night, perfect location, perfect price. Some may think because it’s a red roof it’s no good. Highly recommend

Room was extremely clean and was good value for the money

Solo traveler here who stayed a couple days in Erie. I've chosen this hotel a few years in a row when visiting and it's perfect for my needs. Free parking, only about a 15 minute drive to the beaches on Presque Isle, and easy walking distance to all of the downtown and bayfront amenities. Clean room, staff is always very friendly and helpful, spacious fridge, microwave. If all you need is a clean, safe, and reliable place to stay while visiting the area, this is the perfect choice.

My family of six stayed in the family suite and it was more than adequate as well as equipped with everything we needed for our 4th of July weekend stay.

Affordable and close to the bay

Excellent service and support from staff. Rooms were not clean and there was a strong pet scent in the spaces and rooms. Bring slippers for room wear. Got a bite so im terrified but unsure if its bed bug.

Stayed one night with my teenager as we were traveling. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. TV has cable channels and also the option for Netflix login. Staff was very friendly.

In a neighborhood that’s constant ambulances and cop sirens. During our stay an officer with a drug dog walked around our building. Also they tell you they need a 100$ incidental deposit. They say it falls off but it didn’t they kept it.
