Location was good and the room looked nice At every possible opportunity, the hotel tries to nickel and dime you for extra services. $16/day for parking in their own attached garage. Early check in fees and late check out fees, regardless of whether they’re sold out or not.

Comfortable, clean, spare, room. Great view. Small but nice pool and hot tub. A few things were amiss. For three people in two queen beds there was only one towel hook in the bathroom in which the sink was plugged. Coffee for coffee maker but no tea (that had to be purchased). No breakfast included (which I knew) no coffee/tea service in the lobby, just the hotel restaurant (limited and pricey) and a coffee shop (slow and out of two of the things we ordered). I travel often and widely. For the $600+ price tag, I expected much more.

Since we were Marriott people we got an automatic upgrade with beautiful water view. It was our anniversary and we had always wanted to check out Erie. Has so much to offer with the water adventures, etc.

We stay at this hotel one to two times a year and absolutely love the location, the rooms and the staff except for this visit. We stay at this hotel one to two times a year for pleasure. We usually have a great experience with the front desk staff. This visit the front desk woman who checked us in was rude and could not be bothered beyond taking our name and credit card.

It was peaceful and quiet , I liked being on the 8th floor away from everything else and the breakfast and supper was great . The construction but I know that temporary.

The room was super clean, the staff were helpful. Didnt get to enjoy the bar and the pool was freezing at only 3'4" the whole way around. The hot tub was a jacuzzi and not a hot tub, also 3'4" deep but super warmer then warm, but not melt skin hot. The shower pressure was terrible and supplied shampoo was so watered down it ran off my hand faster than getting it to my hair, not to mention how small the shower/tub was to stand in. Definitely a nice hotel with cleanliness, etc but not worth five star pricing.
