There was a herd of wild elk in the courtyard and parking lot! The building is a little old, so it could stand some updating. Generally, it's a very nice place to stay.

Staff was friendly. Clean room. Hot water for the shower. Breakfast is terrible. All pre-wrapped food. Nothing fresh. Too expensive for the condition of the furniture. Outdated and stains on the chair cushions. The booking.com photos are deceiving. The outside patio table and chair for the room are on the walkway to all the rooms. Not relaxing at all. The most anyone should pay for a room there is $120.00USD.

Access convenience of our vehicle to our room! The laminate flooring, especially with our miniature schnauzer. Very spacious area. Wonderful staff, Caitlyn from our initial reservation to allowing us to check in early upon arrival! A tremendous serendipity was when a bull elk arrived out front on the lawn, and eventually a number of cows & calves!( They even returned the next morning!) There wasn't anything we didn't like!

Staff were very helpful and accommodating and let us collect breakfast the evening before as we had a very early start the next day. Bikes were a nice bonus but could do with a bit more maintenance as in quite poor condition.

We stayed at Murphy’s Resort with our 4 and 6 year old and had a great time. It’s an older resort that’s been updated, and it’s the perfect hub for a few days in Estes/RMNP. We felt very safe and our girls loved swimming in the pool (it was warm!) and playing on the playground. The best part was seeing all the elk that come through the property! The closest we’ve ever been to them! The front desk staff was really nice. We will definitely stay again!

The staff was really welcoming and friendly throughout my stay. The property was well-maintained and full of elk! Nice continental breakfast selection & clean room. The walls are a little thin between units, but luckily I had good, quiet "neighbors" each night.

We enjoyed our stay and would totally stay here again! Bonus was the herd of elk who hung out in the resorts lawn!

Location was great, the staff friendly, our 2 room suite was roomy and price responsible. The free popcorn was also appreciated! Nothing!

The front desk was always polite and helpful. The breakfast attendant was nice and friendly.

It’s not a luxury resort, but it’s very comfortable and nice. The staff at the hotel was outstanding. Definitely, I am recommending it to my friends and family, and for sure, I will stay there again whenever I find myself on that neck of the woods. I liked everything

Nice staff, comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast was a little skimpy but at least it was free!

Old time feel, old time hospitality. Warm and clean pool, large and hot hottub. Quoet, but not far from town Older property but well maintained.

Could not have asked for a better resort!! A/C was a little weak No hot items at brkfst. Except coffee

The hotel room was super clean. The staff, super nice as well. It's an older hotel, but VERY WELL maintained. Really nice to get water and ice for your water bottle at breakfast.

I did enjoy the breakfast room-it had a mountain retreat vibe. The room was a good size and we enjoyed the patio. Furnishing were outdated and room was in need of minor renovation-updated lighting, AC was mediocre and furniture was tired. Breakfast was so so-basically toast, bananas and yogurt.
