I chose this hotel while staying in Eugene for my student’s UO IntroDUCKtion. It was definitely more spendy than other hotel recommendations for the area. Due to a college meet-up at the hotel that evening, I elected to stay here for the convenience factor. Upon check-in, the front desk staff was not very friendly, nor helpful. I wasn’t told about any hotel amenities, breakfast times, or anything other than where the elevator could be found (which I inquired about). The restaurant was very busy that evening, which I understood because of the scheduled UO meeting. Sadly, my food was delivered after more than an hour and a half of waiting. It was cold and I took two bites before tossing it. Drinks took 30 mins or more to receive and they lost, then forgot about my order to begin with. Overall, the hotel didn’t plan for appropriate staffing of the event, it seems. The hotel room itself was decorated intentionally, which I appreciated. The bed was a little hard for my liking. Overall, I will probably try another hotel next time I stay in Eugene. I was let down, considering how excited I was to stay here and see Eugene before my student relocated this fall.

Everyone was welcoming and friendly when we arrived. The room was designed well which made the atmosphere good. The hotel was very close to a variety of different places to eat.

This hip hotel feels boutique with the eclectic design. Look carefully at the design elements and you see all kinds of academic inspired decor.

The hotel was described as a short walk to Autzen Stadium. This is inaccurate. The stadium is about 2 or more miles away that is not a short walk for someone with mobility issues. Our refrigerator was broken. They did replace this with a new refrigerator after 10:30 pm when I called. I have insulin that needed to be refrigerated. There was no hot tub. The toilet did not flush well. The AC did not work well. Everything was old. No free breakfast. Very limited times that the restaurant was open. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I have never paid this much for a hotel, and this was not luxury.

It was a great space for us to hang out.

We were there over graduation and the hotel is extremely busy, but they did a great job. Been back multiple times and would recommend this hotel.

A wonderful hotel with a great "Duck" vibe! Perfect spot for a stay in a college town!

We love this hotel!! Cool U of O theme; awesome bar/restaurant; good breakfast spot; rooms are clean and well appointed. Will be back!

Unique and friendly hotel

We’ve been coming to The Graduate for the four years, while my daughter was in school. It’s always been a wonderful, clean, welcoming place. Bittersweet she’s graduating; we probably won’t grace their doorstep much anymore, but it was always lovely.
