Hydrangea Inn

A very cozy and private place for a short stay. The host paid attention to all the details to make the buglow feel at home. The breakfast was awesome too.

Easily the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in, and comfortable too.The property is so well maintained and the gardens are wonderful. As others have noted, the breakfast far exceeded any expectations we had. So much so, my husband threatened to lick the baking dish! Will be looking for recipes to try and duplicate.Only wish it had been warm enough to eat outside. My highest recommendation!

Darling house in a neighborhood full of vintage homes. Lovely secluded garden. Breaksfasts were quite good and attractively presented. The bed was very comfortable and I'm used to bringing my own pillows but the pillows provided were great.

Hydrangea Inn a lovely, clean place to stay in Eueraka. It has a home vibe! Breakfast was included and it was a homemade delicious breakfast each morning. Renee the owner offers a comfortable lovely home. I will stay at this location every time I’m in Eureka visiting. I highly recommend it if you’re in the area!

I had a fantastic time at the Hydrangea Inn! I rented the Bungalow and it was adorable and quiet. Breakfast on the two days of my stay was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

We stayed in the detached bungalow....it was perfect with lots of space and unexpected treats. Breakast was amazing, the grounds were lush and beautiful. Off street parking was a little cramped. Definitely would recommend.

Service was thoughtful and helpful, lots of information provided as to the month’s local events, and plenty of convenient free parking out front. A+. Highly recommended. Our first choice for future trips to the area.

Our host made wonderful homemade breakfasts for us each morning of our stay. It was really delicious. The parking situation in the driveway was not ideal but the street parking worked out well for us.

The amenities were better than expected. Breakfast was substantial, well prepared, well presented and Yummy! This place took you back to the charms of the past. We loved it.

The quality of the towels and bed linen was very good. We were "upgraded" to a bigger room but this was upstairs whereas we had deliberately booked a ground floor room for medical reasons. The larger accommodation barely compensated for having to make several trips up and down a 17 step stairway. We felt obliged to accept the upgrade as it was clear that the original room booked had not been serviced and to have insisted on having that room would have meant a long wait until it was prepared.

Our family of four stayed in the upstairs apartment. We had plenty of space and the apartment was well decorated, clean and had a nice large bathroom. The backyard is lovely with places to sit or dine and a fireplace. The breakfasts were wonderful - we regretted not being able to eat it all! The host was friendly but unobtrusive. Beds were comfortable and the area was quiet. Nothing.

We were appreciative of the prepared breakfast. It’s one thing when the adjoining rooms (in a hotel) are noisy but unfortunately it was the main residents who were extremely loud. We went to bed at 10p and you could hear loud movements from the first floor for over an hour. It was clearly posted that breakfast would be ready at 8:30a, which is just fine. Unfortunately we woke up to the owner yelling “Breakfast is readddy!” What is the point of doing this?

Outstanding breakfast. Renee is a very nice and attentive host. The home is charming and immaculate both inside and outside with plenty of privacy. The living room is not large but it was perfectly adequate for the 4 of us
