The Eureka Inn is a large but not too large, charming old world style hotel. The rooms and furnishings are very well maintained. The hotel is quiet and the staff are helpful. Also it’s in a very walkable downtown neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay. We’d stay again.

Hotel with a lot of personality, impressive lobby furnishings and architecture. Very clean room and helpful staff.

The area is under construction so park in the back in the parking lot across the street. There is a pool but I doubt it’s heated. The surrounding neighborhood is nice, there’s so many beautiful Victorians around in so many different colors, some in great shape some need some love. I felt safe and secure there, I would stay here again next time I’m in town.

We had a decent room with most of the usual basics but wish there were microwaves in-room. Had 4 people booked for a 2-queen room yet only TWO bath towels. Bathroom door screeched like it was possessed, waking the other occupants. Our A/C was an open window, tho’ we didn’t open very wide as we didn’t want pigeons or seagulls making themselves at home. Staff were mostly pretty helpful, but we really missed having a restaurant on-site.

A grand hotel with a great lobby to read in. Loved the decor. It's been thoughtfully remodeled. If you are fond of Agatha Christie mysteries you will love this hotel.

Was noisy from I’m not sure where No food available onsite Would not stay here again or recommend

Apparently the pool was under repair…but this did not bother us. Desk people were very helpful…room was clean…a bit small but that’s ok. The one side of the bed had no where to plug in the lamp that was there…but I was so exhausted didn’t need it. Breakfast was mediocre but better than nothing! Thank you very much!

Sadly the bar and the restaurant were closed. Both looked beautiful from the outside. There was costruction on one side of the hotel on an adjacent propert about which realistically the hotel couln't do anything. Rooms had hard flooring creating significant noise on the room below.

This hotel is very old and not well maintained. We have stayed at many historic properties that have been well cared for but this was definitely not one of them. We actually did not stay here. After checking in and seeing the room we left and went to another hotel. The lobby and room has an old, musty smell. The room was dark and dingy. The carpets were very worn in the lobby and in the room. The property looks much better in the photos than it does in real life. We were very disappointed that it was not advertised accurately. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

We enjoyed all the photos of famous people and the grand lobby

The hotel was ok. It was cool learning about the history of the hotel as it was once a very big deal. Multiple presidents have stayed here along with other celebrities from prior decades. The bathrooms are very small and there is not much counter space. My wife didn't like the bathroom mirror. They do offer a small breakfast of pastries, cereal and coffee/tea in the morning. There are a handful of parking spots next to the hotel and a large gated lot across the street, which is an easy walk.

Rooms are nice although very small, bathroom is tiny beds are comfortable, tv didn’t work. This is a very old Victoriian hotel. It’s on the historic register and has an amazing past. Lots of celebrities and presidents have visited it. But it’s old and musty. The lobby is pure Victorian luxury, though.

We loved this historic hotel! The lobby was beautiful and our room was spacious and nicely decorated.

I loved the history of the Inn When we checked in the pool was closed for the season it said. The restaurant and lounge were closed also. Our room was very small and only lukewarm water in the bathroom.

Wonderful stay, it was like staying in a museum.

Everything about this room was amazing! Beautiful historic hotel kept up with great care. Very comfortable beds with upgraded rooms keeping original charm. Very helpful staff and close to downtown events and the harbor. Loved our stay!

Breakfast was not very good

Room was clean and everything worked. Hotel is old and has a smell to it. Other than that it was a nice safe place to stay.
