The opportunity to stay at this amazing Victorian was one I couldn’t pass up and the price was very reasonable. Owners very kind. Room was gorgeous and comfortable. Having bathroom in hallway was no issue at all, there were 3 bathrooms for 4 rooms so no issue, and they were very clean.

I gave it 4/5 stars on "how the property is kept". This rating was only based on the exterior because it was under construction when we went. Therefore, parts of the home were taped, covered and loose material was spread about the yard. I gave 3/5 stars regarding amenities because of the bathroom situation. I realize we no longer use chamber pots, so logistics of a bathroom was probably an issue for the people planning out the new layout. Not sure that can be resolved in the future. I personally was not prepared to share (especially with the nightly cost). That it is my only issue with the home. Because it is a shared bathroom, If I was on a girls trip or having an overnight sleep over with the girls, staying for a birthday, baby, wedding shower (or some other occasion) and knew everyone renting on the top level I would do it again. Matter of fact, I am recommending it to my besties. I just would not want to share with strangers, but that is just me.

Great stay experience. Recommend to everyone.

Beautiful Queen Anne mansion in active restoration. Very fun period pieces in rooms and well appointed bedroom. Modern plumbing, albeit in three colocated shared bathrooms. Never had to wait.

Staying at the Pinc Lady was a wonderful experience! It was incredible to see the inside of this well maintained Victorian. The owner was incredibly kind. My partner and I absolutely plan to stay here again.

I absolutely loved my stay at the PINC INN. I stayed in the turret room with a view of Humboldt Bay and the famous Carson Mansion. The Inn is currently going through some renovations, but that didn't impact my stay at all. The mansion and the grounds are beautiful. I have been coming to the mansion since I was a little girl, and I finally got to live out my princess fairytale dreams. Highly recommend!

This place is very pretty and the owners are very nice. The only complaint I have is the bed was uncomfortable that it hurt my back, it was an extremely soft mattress. I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to stay the 2 nights, but with enough pillow stuffing around me I was able to manage. I have slept on better mattresses in less expensive places.

A historical house you would never experience and the kids love it a lot

If you are a B&B person, then this is a cute place to stay. I'm not, and it was rather uncomfortable (no a/c), the internet wasn't connected to the smart TV, so the TV was useless. We wanted to leave our bags after checkout (a very early 10am) while we walked to town, but texting the host received no reply. Three shared bathrooms all outside our room door. There is a bathtub, but baths are not allowed. Overall, we should have stayed elsewhere.

The home is beautiful and the host is very helpful. There is a large population of unhoused in the immediate area, but we never felt unsafe.

After climbing the steps to the kitchen door, the owner walked us through the keypad lock and gave us the lay of the land. (You can't wear your shoes in the house. Um, ok. The slippers provided are not by the kitchen door, where you have to take your shoes off, they're in the main entry. And they seem to be cleaned using clorox wipes, so you may want to just go barefoot?) Anyway, from the kitchen door, make a u-turn, go under the servant's stairs, and up the beautiful main staircase. Upstairs is lovely, but downstairs is cluttered with tschotchkes. Bathrooms are down the hall, and that was not clear when we booked on Hotels.com. Most of the pertinent information came in two pdfs that came through AFTER we booked. Since we booked on our phone, it was difficult to impossible to read the pdfs. It's a lovely home but shared bathrooms with other guests is not ideal. No one is cleaning the shower between uses. We had 2 robes but one had something on the sleeve. Clearly not cleaned between guests.

This was I beautiful old Victorian home. We enjoyed our stay.

There was so much wrong! We had to use the back door, even though the owner used the front door. We had to take off shoes every time we entered the building. We had no private bathroom reserved (for another $100) for the first night and no private bathroom available the second night (we are a party of 3 people) with a check-out time of 10:00 with no extension! There was 1 small tote that supposedly towels, wash cloths for 3 people, wet towels to be dried in bedroom, no space in shared refrigerator, unaccommodating staff, and more!

The owners were so friendly and helpful! They are very proud of the pinc. I'd love to go back!

The building is beautiful but under construction. The surroundings were somewhat sketchy. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom is not ideal but do able. Wish the Victorian theme was throughout the house. Some things were but a lot was not. Owner was very sweet and knowledgeable.

My husband and I loved our stay! Jacqueline gave us a brief history of the House. She was very nice and helpful as were her son, and husband. The house was very cleaned and beautiful with a lot of thoughtful details. The sheets and towels were very cleaned and smelled freshly laundered.

The Pinc Lady is so cute and the bed was nice and comfy. Pay attention to the details so you know what to expect. This is a renovated home. It has shared bathrooms and you have to climb the stairs. We loved it for the experience.
