My keycard frequently stopped working and I had to visit the front desk quite a bit to have them reset it. I forget her name but the lady started to recognize me and was so helpful and nice every time I came by with my card or requested extra sheets for the sofa bed. We had the family suite and it was spacious and clean, I appreciate the two sinks, it made for getting ready in the morning a lot faster. It takes quite a bit of elevator rides to get to the family suite but we managed. Many of the ice machines throughout the hotel didn’t work. Water in the gym was not available. Breakfast was fine. It was a basic continental breakfast, but with so many other chains offering hot proteins and waffle machines as a standard for their complimentary breakfasts, it was a bit disappointing to see that a large hotel like this couldn’t make the extra effort. They do offer hot dishes through their restaurant for an additional charge.

Awful beds, dirty property. Old equipment. Hotel looks like it hasn’t been updated in 30 years. Wallpaper peeling in areas. Stains. Aging televisions. Fentanyl zombies wander the unfenced parking lot at night.

Breakfast on Sunday morning was not good had muffins cups of oatmeal you had to add water. Green bananas ,toast or bagels not very appetizing. It was a 1 for effort.

Staff was good. Breakfast was okay.

Check in was flawless and simple. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the amenities within the room, such as coffee and TV. Room service and house keeping were friendly and amazing.
-
Average hotel. The breakfast wasn’t much to talk about-I would plan on something else unless you only want an instant oatmeal or bagel.

The bedding was scratchy. Breakfast was the pits. Staff was nice and room was clean enough. All over just an ok stay. Definitely not worth 200$ a night.

Easy check in, nice staff, clean rooms. Thanks Red Lion.

Clean and spacious rooms. Great staff.

Parking lot is now a truck stop so don't get a room on the parking lot side, you get to listen to big rigs beeping & warming up.

Love this hotel. We stay here every year. Even though they have a lot of tour buses that come through it's so quiet.

The overall cleanliness was ok, but not great. Dirt in corners, spiders, and things hanging from the ceiling tiles. The locking on one of the sliding doors was broken and took some work to secure the door. The outside doors (bottom floor were all unlocked when we entered the room and it was a little unnerving. The staff was kind and friendly to us. Breakfast was the barest minimum but was appreciated. The real issue for us was the overpowering smell of marijuana. The smells were so bad one night that we couldn't escape it, and had to sleep with blankets over our heads. We would not stay at this location again.

Broken elevator and no help carrying luggage up stairs, musty smell, broken TV, had to change rooms after already unpacking. Moved to an even mustier room which was located next to the ice machine and elevator, it was so noisy it sounded like people were in our room, water in shower smelled so bad it was disgusting and water pooled unless dirty plug was taken completely out. I understand that sometimes things go wrong but this was crazy. We usually stay here when passing through but I think from now on we'll look elsewhere

The only qualm I have about staying here is that the water heater is frankly abysmal. This is not the first time that, not even hot, simply warm water only lasts about 2 minutes before it feels like I'm trying to shower in a northern california stream up on the mountain. I'm over in Humboldt monthly for work, and I only stay here if my regular spots are all booked up simply because of having to shower cold. The staff is always kind and friendly, the location is good right off the highway and in the downtown area close to restaurants, and in general the rooms are fine! So... to summarize, overall the hotel is fine and the staff is kind, but it's likely you'll have cold water to shower or wash your face with.

The breakfast was very poor the eggs looked and unfortunately tasted like cardboard. The staff was not helpful 😒.

Place is really run down and needs a serious make over. We were orginally offered a room that had a sliding glass door with no way to lock it. It looked like it had been slopply rigged by slightly welding a metal dish towel are.
