Very welcoming and friendly staff at every turn. Reception, housekeeping, and dining staff were all very nice and friendly and made our stay amazing. The pool was warm and well stocked with towels. Our room was clean and quiet. We really enjoyed breakfast and the parking lot was kept safe by gates and codes to gain entry. We loved our stay here despite the condition of the surrounding city.

Very under-maintained hotel in a sketchy part of town. The reviews on Booking.com indicate a comfortable experience and that is not what greets you when you arrive. My first sign was that the lobby doors are off their hinges and don’t shut properly. The rooms are dingy and felt damp the entire time. Very disappointing when you’ve been hiking all day and want a comfortable room to unwind in. The bathroom was very poorly laid out- almost no hooks for towels on the wall or back of the door. Unfortunately the complementary breakfast was one of the worst I’ve had on our 2.5 week trip staying in different hotels every night. Disappointing value for what I paid.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, breakfast as good as any other hotel you can stay at. Overall solid place to stay if you are in the area.

Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was waffles, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, fruit, muffins, coffee and juice. The neighborhood is a little rough. The hotel has completely fenced in parking. That was big benefit. The room were good and comfy beds. It is an older hotel just a reminder.

Front desk stuff was really helpful, cordial and professional

Our room has a funny smell, not a fresh clean smell: Bathroom is clean, beds are clean. Then we realized it's the carpet. My husband walkd in the room without slippers and his soles turned black!! The breakfast is terrible , not a meat in the choices. Egg is half cooked. no fruit either. I will not book in Clarion again. Disappointed

Extremely friendly staff that provide the best customer service possible. Rooms are always very clean, surrounding area was really quiet making it a ease to sleep. When I travel to this area this is the motel I choose.

Booked this place because we stayed at a very nice Choice Hotel property in Boston. Should have done more research. Room 101 - bathroom ceiling & toilet paper holder in bad condition. Broken surge protector powering the desk lamp, tv, and microwave. The neighborhood isn’t great so the property has gated parking. Glad we only needed the room for one night.

The overall appearance of the hotel outside. The rooms were a bit small for 4 people in the 2 queen room.

Hated parking lot.

The area has A LOT of homeless people roaming the streets at night and made us feel unsafe. It was a little more settling when we saw the grounds are gated, but wouldn’t stay again for that reason.

Clean and location I didn’t have an issue with anything

The front desk clerk was very friendly. The pool was so nice and warm. Expected more modern upgrades in the room. Pillows uncomfortable.

Breakfast could have been better. Although the basic eggs, milk and bread were all there, I would have liked to have more options in the meat section.
