Big room, comfortable bed, good lication
-
Nice location. Centrally located. Easy access to most restaurants and activities in Eureka.

The hotel was clean. The bed was comfortable. We could hear the TV from the next room all night. Some posts mention the homeless in this area. Parking is underneath the hotel, and they lock the gates at night. The pillows were hard. The breakfast was just prepackaged muffins, bananas, and yogurt in the office where you chrck in. The strangest thing... it was if they came in the room and sprayed bleach just before we walked in. The bleach smell was very strong.

Property is very out of date and worn down; very scretchy part of town and didn’t feel safe at all.
-
Breakfast was not available on time.

Hmmm. Breakfast-some sketchy grab/go. Room was shabby. Sliding glass door to small balcony was nice but no screen so ...bugs. Not in the best part of town it seemed.
-
The parking lot reeks of marijuana, the walls are paper thin, the lighting is bad, the sliding door didn’t lock, the pillows have seen better days and should have been replaced 20 years ago.
-
The 3 days stay was nice but the TV Closed Captioned not working at all. I would come back if it’s working!

Hotel & Rooms definitely need updating. Bare minimum hotel. Rooms facing the street are very loud. The sliding door was unlocked when we arrived at the room and the second lock on the slider was broken. You could hear the street noise thru the sliding door even when it was closed and locked.

This property needs an update! Beds were clean and comfortable. Everything else was worn, stained and scuffed up.

There is a small but visible "homeless" population wandering around at the first level where the cark park was. The neighborhood was also aging, but there were some restaurants open that were not too far away after dark.
-
We understood there would be a full continental breakfast. It was only grab and go with limited items, served in the small lobby where you check in. So, not great for breakfast. Basic property, but met our need for a room while in the area. Breakfast could have been much better. That is a primary reason we choose a property. Also, the amenities are not great. Finally, when walking to the beach area we encountered quite a few homeless people. So, the area of the city is somewhat questionable.

Disappointing. Not much available. There was none available. Only coffee left and a banana. The breakfast offering. And strong smell of weed in the hallway.

Location

Room was okay. Breakfast was not good.
-
The breakfast was a toaster in the dirty lobby with no place to sit and a danish or mini muffin. Had to spend $35 at a restaurant for breakfast
-
Comfortable and clean stay stay during a motorcycle tour of the Mendocino coast and redwoods. Conveniently placed for bars and restaurants
-
The room air is stale with a smell of mold, and the window is blocked to prevent it from being opened. Strange people are smoking on the premises with dogs, clearly just passersby.
-
Room is always clean.

Our room was pretty spacious, there were a mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, mini coffee maker and also iron. In short, you will have everything a person needs for, at least, one or two nights.
