The staff was super helpful and the room was well appointed for an ADA compliant hotel. The breakfast was a super nice surprise.

everything was fine, and i slept well, which is a high bar

The location I'm very dissatisfied during my stay there. Staff. especially Thomas, was rude and condescending. My prepaid room was not ready when I arrived at 4:30 PM. I didn't get my room until around 5 pm. The room itself was not up to my expectation in term of quality and cleanliness. The room for sure doesn't worth $ 300 a night. As a matter of fact there was dirty socks in the closet when I got the room. The breakfast was okay, again not up to the expectation for a $ 300 a night. Also, they tried to trick us on the value of the valet parking.

Nice hotel near NorthWestern University campus. We came for the campus tour and stayed the night. Comfy beds. Large room. Tasty free breakfast. Many Shopping and food options nearby.

A nice hotel in a good location. The breakfast was good.

The availability of parking was not disclosed before I made the booking. This caused an unexpected inconvenience upon arrival. In addition, the receptionist's attitude was disappointing. Instead of trying to help, he simply told us that we had to resolve the issue through Booking.com and that it was "not their business." I expected a more helpful and customer-oriented response.

Very clean and comfortable! And they served a great, fresh breakfast!

I thought the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The single diffuser off the fan coil makes the room extremely drafty. The door to the bathroom is very heavy. The sink is kind of small. The gym isn't anything special. Have to walk into the shower and get blasted by cold water to turn it on.

Proximity, cleanliness

Beyond great location, good parking ( valet during the weekend and self parking in weekdays. Lovely breakfast, omelet station, bagels fresh fruit. Real nice. Rooms clean, great TV with tons of choices. The water pressure was a bit on the low side for me. One room had a shower bath and the second a shower. All in all this is our second time in 4 years. We will come again.

Great location, very friendly staff and very good quality breakfast.

I love this hotel. Ive stayed here several times. Breakfast is great, the rooms are a perfect size for families and you can walk to everywhere you need to go in Evanston but I was frustrated that our room took a long time to cool down every night. I get there was a heatwave that week but the reason we stayed here instead of with family is to take advantage of the full suite of amenities (which includes sleeping in a cool room during the summer). I was disappointed that their eco friendly thermostats didnt keep the rooms reasonably cool while we were out for the day resulting in a several hour cool down period when we got back.

Evanston was recommended to me as an alternative place to stay as opposed to downtown Chicago. Only 20 mins from the Ogilvie Transit centre in Chicago and also about 45 mins from downtown by Purple/ Red lines. Evanston itself is lovely (located on the lakeshore with a wide range of restaurants, cafes and lovely little shops. It has a nice atmosphere and very safe. The accommodation was very nice, comfortable, clean and safe. The breakfast provided was very good. I didn’t use the gym but noticed it was very well equipped and maintained. There was a lovely patio area on the 2nd floor which was very nice. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly, helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend the accommodation for anyone looking to visit Chicago on holiday but wanting to avoid the hustle and bustle of downtown. Thank you.
