DoubleTree by Hilton Evansville

The overall cleanliness was not up to par for a Doubletree hotel. It was not filthy, but it was not good. The stairs and elevators were not nice. My room was ok, but far below expectation for the brand. The staff was very courteous and efficient.

The breakfast at the restaurant was very good. The hotel was very convenient for an event we attended at the Ford Center.

The parking is in a garage right next to the hotel and free, so that is a plus. There are pedways from the hotel to the Ford Center and there are plenty of restaurants/bars within easy walking distance. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The pool was very nice and the whole property was very well kept.

The main lobby and hallways had debris all over the carpets. Woke up in the middle of the night pulled the sheet back off the comforter and there was red blood from the day before I'm assuming all over it. I asked the front desk to give me a new comforter, and I was told they didn't have any clean Linens whatsoever. I suggested they go to an empty room and give me one of the comforters from there so they did. I put it on the bed and it had a urine stain on it still yellow. They tried to comp my breakfast but I had already paid for it. I can say though when I looked at my bank account they took off $25 yippee. Also the pool was an open and I was expecting to have a buffet breakfast the following morning and apparently it was remodeled into a restaurant no longer offering Buffet. Disappointed

Not very handicapped friendly, tore up my walker trying to get through door from parking garage doors VERY HEAVY no way to prop open . staff never offered to help with luggage no recliner of any sort just a very hard chair to sleep on as I can't ly flat on bed

Wonderful stay at this property. The manager and check-in staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I look forward to staying there again.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is very clean. It was located within close walking distance to where we was going.

No microwave in our room

The hotel was not prepared for the number of people checking in and the wait was 20 people deep.

It's close to the Ford center. Check in was a nightmare had our reservation for a month. Got put off for 2 or more hours because rooms were not cleaned almost late for our event because of it! People were upset and waiting for rooms totally handled poorly

Nice hotel, spacious rooms, and convenient location. Breakfast not included. There is a restaurant and lobby bar.

Hotel was very convenient for what we were staying for. The pool wasn't open so that was a let down for my children. All in all it was a great stay and would stay there again.

Very nice hotel. Large but well run by staff. Elevators great rooms very nice. Located in downtown Evansville. Very easy to get to would stay again

Saturday morning tried to order room service for breakfast and they said they were to busy that we could come down and get it but what is the point of that if you offer something you should make sure that it’s available for you customers to use it put us behind for the rest of the morning

The room had left over coke bottles from the previous guest. The bed was made and the bathroom had fresh towels and that was it. I have been staying at this facility for the last 4yrs and last year was bad, but this year was the worst. I will not be staying there anymore.
