Holiday Inn Express Evansville Downtown by IHG

Location is everything! Add great rooms, parking, staff and breakfast and that is a combo that keeps me coming back each year.

The three times I’ve stayed here was a waste of time and money They are rude& act as though you are an inconvenience. heard a worker complain to other guests about things she hates at her job which was replacing room keys dealing w/guest after check in and early/late arrival She didn’t JUST say that but told the stories of other guests& how handled them she doesn’t have time for them she rolled eye&huffed when I asked about breakfast times asked for clean towels 2nd day they told us to find some in the hallway our shower had hair in it from prior guests soap was empty asked for late check out refused unless a member asked if they could help store a cake for a hour &refused They were so unprofessional! the gym was clean &the maintenance guy there was nice But there was trash juice dripping from elevator on 6floor to lobby and going throughout lobby the entire day!I booked 4 month advance they raised prices 2different times while I was staying there anytime I tried to call or ask about anything they were hateful&intimidating me (worried they'd make us leave!)I thought I locked in price when booked instead of talking w/me they talked at me&was contradicting each other statements&the paperwork I just gave up I refuse to go back the only thing they have is nice views staff ruined this place could be a great spot for Evansville nice location horrible people This isn’t first time I left review nothing has changed same ppl same problems

Not anything really The jetted tub blows out cold air when on, so didn’t get to use that much, the view SUCKS! You’re literally looking at utility poles and a building. Paid over $300 for this room that has tape on the ceiling, someone’s “sex candy wrapper” was on the floor .. yes it says “sex candy” and there wasn’t any body wash or hand soap hardly in the room ended up using the drop of shampoo that was there. Couldn’t ask to switch rooms as they were booked. The breakfast omelet tasted old, the sausage was rubbery, and the bagel was old. We won’t be back here! Could have stayed down the street with a better view for cheaper!

Very clean property. Very fruendly staff. My only complaint is having to go to the lobby from the 5th floor for coffee. I always appreciate an in room coffee maker.

Could use some better soaps. Especially some added for the jetted tub

Very comfortable beds you could tell that the linens were freshly cleaned The beds were very soft. Sitting area did not have any Shade

Clean rooms and good breakfast

We just needed a place to stay as we passed through. This was a great place! Very peaceful, rooms and lobby were super clean. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had in a while (including bacon which is getting rare!). I would definitely stay here again.

I was shocked by excessive deposit, charged to park at hotel and breakfast later than most so most of us kept missing out on it. I was told I could get a breakdown receipt at end of stay to reflect all charges since we only knew of $1258 on hotels.com but it came out to almost $1800 instead. I have only recieved $1258.10 receipt sent through hotels.com but no proof of deposits paid on rooms. Nobody was ever at front desk on check out to get one or our room key cards only a drop box to leave them. It's nice and clean but expensive for very little help or amenities.

It was very clean and the desk clerk was very helpful and professional. The breakfast buffet was hot and perfect along with the attendant. It advertises that it has a pool which at this location there was not.

Nice hotel overall but their TVs are not smart TVs or Roku in order to be able to stream movies.

It was located within walking distance of the casino and several restaurants. Also breakfast provided several good options and was kept fresh and hot. Dining area and hotel overall was clean. Front desk staff were not very welcoming.

Fantastic place we come here and stay at this location many times throughout the year and we love it. The staff is always nice and polite!
