Garner Hotel Evansville East by IHG

Thought it was strange there were no towel racks in the bathroom. Also had to get ice buckets at the front desk. Overall it's a great place to stay!

The location. First, the receptionist spoke unclear; second, the bathroom door was getting stuck and would open with a loud sound; third, the breakfast was horrendous with bad and few choices to eat (typical horrible looking oatmeal, omelet, questionable sausage.)

The room was nicely decorated and looked appealing. The continental breakfast was good. The water was not warm. The floor was dirty. There were a few personal items left in the room from previous guests. The beds were uncomfortable. They were extremely firm matresses.

I liked the free breakfast ! Easy to find your way to town and not far from many places ! The elevator door opened before fully on the 4th floor kinda scary !!! And there was something in the carpet that I hope was mud , it was brown and near the beds.

The beds Had a mildew smell and there was hair on the toilet seat. The hair dryer was sticky and you could see fingerprints still on it.

Everything was amazing. Definitely staying here again.

Room was large and clean. Not rating low for this as it wouldn't bother everyone. Our room had so much open wasted space that it made the room feel unfurnished and less homey. An extra table and pictures on walls would have really made it feel more homey. Also the placement of the stationary hand soap and body lotion was in the most inconvenient spot. You had to stand between the sink and toilet to get lotion. As in the room there was a lot of wasted space for better placement where you weren't rubbing up on the toilet to get lotion.

Bed was not that comfortable and pillows too hard
