Very clean even under renovation

Clean, quiet and convenient location. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding!

Staff at the check in counter was great, very friendly. The lobby and breakfast area was nicely decorated and looked clean. The room we booked looked a mess, like they started to renovations and stopped half way and just toss a bunch of random furniture in it. There was no dresser or counter space in the actual bedroom area, only small nightstands on both sides of the bed. We had to keep all of our stuff on the counter around the sink or under the TV. The mini fridge was missing any kind of shelf in it. Stuff would fall out when we opened it. The one thing that was a blessing was the shower, it had strong water pressure and stayed hot. There were no towel rack in the bathroom to hang the hand towel or any wet towels after our shower.

The lady cleaning the lobby was nice and extremely helpful. Front desk couldn’t care less. Checked into a handicapped room on the 1st floor. They put pet owners next door. Could hear everything thru the connecting door. I called asking for a little quiet. They said there was nothing they could do. I’ve never stayed at a place that you could hear everything from the room next door. Especially since it was a mid price room, with good ratings. I wonder if this will be deleted.

Staff was exceptional. Breakfast offerings were very good. Pet fee is reasonable. Property was well maintained and in a good location. Stayed on multiple visits to Evansville.

The breakfast was very good. Staff was very friend;ly and helpful. When I booked my reservation on Booking.com I indicated that I would pay when I arrived. Prior to traveling I received a request to pre-register. At the end of the request, it asked for my card information there was a statement that ASSURED me that no charges would be made to the card number provided. They charged my account $115.00 without my approval. This bait and switch is what will keep me from EVER staying at ANY La Quinta again and I have posted what happened to my group site and have advised my group to never stay at this hotel unless they are absolutely forced to do so. Then let's address the room servicing. They came into me room to clean and put clean towels in the bathroom. I came back from an event to find not only did they NOT clean the room but there were no clean towels left in my room. The bed was unmade and the garbage was never taken out of the room.

Very good breakfast. We only had 2 large towels for 3 people. We asked for more and were met with resistance.

My bathroom was not very clean. Towels were old and scratchy.
