Hampton Inn & Suites Fairbanks

Clean room. Accommodating staff.

The Hampton made it easy for us with airport transfer and holding our luggage between legs of our trip. Very kind and help staff. Clean and comfortable.

They were able to check me in early and not ding me for leaving a couple minutes late. They were respectful and courteous. The maid traded me towels and gave me 2 extra trash bags. Young native lady super nice. Lady at the front checking me in was nice and helpful as well. I also brought breakfast up to my room because it was so good. Thanks for the cooks as well.

It my favorite place to stay when in Fairbanks!!

Price seemed a little much

My mom and I just stayed here and we had a great time. The location was central, the pool/ hot tub was fun, the staff were very friendly. The next time I'm in Fairbanks I'll definitely stop by thank you.

Good location. Has a nice pool. Good breakfast. Was clean. Unfortunately the hot tub was closed. Staff could have been a bit friendlier. Room was supposed to be cleaned every other day ( beds made etc ) but that didn’t happen

The place was fine, the staff was excellent. But the only reason I made the reservation was a belated Mother’s Day for my Mom and she wanted a pool and hot tub. So when it wasn’t working when we wanted to use it, we were very disappointed . I know these things can’t be helped usually but it would’ve been nice to have been offered a discount or refund d so we could’ve gone somewhere else. The price of this hotel was substantially more than many others I could’ve booked. But the staff was excellent, some of the best I’ve ever experienced.

Door lock inoperative - arrived on late flight. After three trips back to front desk at 1am the desk clerk had to break into room. Then told us there was no resolution! Did comp half the room price,

Everyone at Hampton was friendly and helpful, and the free airport shuttle is a big plus in minus 20 weather. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice. Free breakfast was a great perk, as it would have been a chilly walk to get to another restaurant nearby. And the coffee station is always available. Hampton is also on the list of places that will pick you up to go look for the Northern Lights, so that was convenient. My main gripe: since we didn't have a car, I was looking forward to swimming in the indoor pool and using the hot tub. But the pool was not working, so they closed the whole area for all 4 days. I read another review about the pool being closed for many days and I suspect it may have been closed for a while, so beware if that's a big draw for you. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
