MainStay Suites Fargo - I-94 Medical Center

Most of the staff we encountered were great and that’s honestly where the stars start and end. Other than that the property immediately had an awful stench when we entered and our room door was covered in marker, scuffs, dirt, etc. we had the kitchen amenities but didn’t even use any of it considering the microwave and coffee maker were clearly not cleaned out and the dish soap was even half full with inches of dust on the fridge. The bathroom had mold/mildew on the bottom of the curtain and was visible from it being tucked up. The drain was pulled out of the shower but had black marks caked on the bedroom floor and hair completely stuck and wrapped in the drain sitting on the edge of the tub. The property internally looks great as you enter but is falling apart as you get farther into it. It’s a shame because the room was nice but we would’ve spent the money elsewhere and not taken the deal to feel clean after a long day on the road, especially with a young child.

Good place to stay for work

The carpets were absolutely horrible filthy. Very old. Rooms were OK bathroom tub wouldn’t drain shower curtain was old and stained. I guess that’s what you get for $108 per night.

The staff was excellent. Breakfast was very good, The juice machine could have stayed available longer. Coffee was good but needed more options for cream. It was within walking distance to a lot of shopping and food. I wouldn't recommend this hotel as the rooms were clean. very nice rooms.

Room was dirty and a bit run down (broken outlet covers, scrapes on the walls, dirty dishes in the cupboard, kitchen floor looked unswept)

Wasn't clean, elevator dirty, walls dirty, room is dirty, needs painted, sheets need replaced. Pool was closed. This hotel needs a top to bottom carpet/paint/furniture replacements.

Close to interstate and shopping

Issues - broken/stinky room fridge, broken down elevator, hot tub was just warm, huge garbage bags from maids were left in hallway for hours, carpets covered in stains.

The location was good as it was near the hospital and the rate on Expedia was affordable. The room was comfortable and clean. The shower pressure was low but all in all it was a decent place to stay. We didn’t use the pool or eat the breakfast.

Property was perfect after a long day on the road. Hot tub and pool were perfect. Room was huge and well appointed although we didn’t need much of the amenities such as kitchen as only a quick overnight, but would be good if staying longer.

Great stay! Enjoyed our weekend there!

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Furniture and elevator needed a good steam cleaning

Room smelled awful! Carpet very wet under air conditioner. Dust and garbage behind bedside stand. Asked for another room but sold out.

Hotel was disgustingly filthy! Carpets are gross and rooms not maintained. Furniture on rooms were gross.

I made a claim for a refund with the rep on the app. Terrible stay. Ac not working, refrigerator not working, mold in ac, pul out bed was full of pee stains and blood. Front desk said. Maintenance staff is home there’s nothing we could do. Our room was 93 degrees all weekend

The cleanliness of the room was not good. Had to lay down towels on the chair to sit and there was a sandwich left in the microwave. Would not stay there again.

Has the potential to be nice with large rooms but was filthy and gross. I don’t recommend.

1 star because the breakfast was terrible. Also, its not sound proof because I could hear the loud noise on the toad
