This hotel was best property we stayed with on our recent trip to New York. Great location, clean and well-appointed room and property. Courteous and friendly staff and nice breakfast. Would definitely stay here again

Property was clean at check in. Pool was nice for the kids. Room was adequately spacious and clean. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Why we wouldn’t stay again - I woke up at 3am our last night and spotted a roach on the wall. The only way the TV would turn off was by unplugging it from the wall. The pillows are paper thin. If not for the bug issue I would have given a 3-4 star rating in spite of the TV and pillows.

It was close to our destination, there were a lot of places to eat, the rooms were really nice, and the breakfast was very good - just needs cream cheese and bananas The staff could have been friendlier.

The rooms were clean and updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were plenty of things to do in the area. Although the cost was less than the other hotels the cost was still above what I expected to pay for the area.

We have 4 primary issues with the hotel. Two of them were out of the hotel's control. There was a child who constantly ran and stomped in the room and hall above us...for 3 days, different hours. Very annoying. The area roads had many loud cars until 1 am. The hot tub barely had any circulation or jet action. It felt good though after a long day of shopping. Lastly, and most important, was that the toilet barely flushed. You had to hold down the handle the whole time and it struggled every single time.

Good breakfast. Great options out to eat. A good place to stay while visiting out cadet for A Day. Easy half hour drive to West Point. I liked everything

Woken up in the middle of the night by hotel staff.

Around 10 pm people in the room next to us started yelling and then a woman started wailing....yes high pitched, uncontrollable wailing that went from the room to up and down the hallway. It went on for about 20 minutes when we tried to call the front desk to have someone check on her. The phone rang at the front desk for 10 minutes without anyone answering. At that point the we heard car doors being slammed and started hearing people yelling at each other. That went on for about 10-15 minutes before they came back inside and a man in the next room started berating someone loudly. The next morning at breakfast, several of our neighbors complained of the same thing. Its one thing to have rude neighbors in a hotel, but its completely unacceptable to have the hotel staff ignore the calls of the people being disrupted well after the quiet time.
