Basic motel, very friendly, super easy check in, 10/10 would grab another night here.

For the most part the room was value for money. Floor could have been cleaner . Bed very soft .

The room was not too bad, there were a few small, faint stains on the sheets, the walls, and on the shower curtain. There was unfortunately two ants we saw that came up from the bathroom, either from the caulk surrounding the tub or the baseboards. The doors were hard to open due to the framing being in bad shape. Other than that, the staff was very friendly and helpful! They also had an ice machine on the property, which was nice. The outside also looked renovated and more updated than most motels in the area.

Comfortable beds and pillows. I’ll be back😎

This place is simple and affordable. It was all l I needed for a stay in Flagstaff. Clean room, great location and easy to work with the staff.
-
That said, there were a few basic necessities that would have made the experience even better. A few more in-room amenities and small conveniences would go a long way toward improving guest comfort. While nothing significantly impacted my stay, adding those essentials would make the experience feel more complete.

We had a pleasant stay. The motel was clean and conveniently located. We’ll be back.

Convenient but noisy. Next to busy intersection. Price was right. Everything we needed but no extras.
-
This property is in need of an overhaul. That covers it.
-
No microwave or coffee pot in the room.

Was woken up at 9am (checkout is 11) to my door opening and some lady staring in and quickly shutting it and running away. If you knock and nobody answers that doesn’t not grant permission to enter someone’s room. No deadbolt or chain locks, and no microwave.

Great coffee machine in lobby. Nice retro hotel with clean spacious rooms. Very friendly office staff.

This was such a cute little hotel on Route 66. We stayed here before going up to the Grand Canyon. It was a couple of hours' drive, but Flagstaff is such an adorable little city, so I highly recommend it. The woman at the front desk (I don't know if she owned the place or not), but she was SO sweet!

Good location. Friendly staff.

Easy simple and centrally located

This motel went above and beyond expectations. This motel is underrated, a gem hidden in the historic district of Flagstaff. It was clean, it was quiet, the shower was great with good water pressure. They gave enough towels from the start, shampoo and conditioner and body wash all included in the shower wall. The staff was polite and friendly to have a conversation. Jack in the box was literally next door. The price point was amazing for what we got. We have stayed and cancelled hotels that were way more expensive because of cleanliness. So this one goes down as one of my favorite places to stay in the future.

Nice and clean no-frills property close to downtown.

Very nice staff and great location, we’ll be back!

The property is just right for this kind of travel. We like the location. Easy to get to downtown. Staff is very helpful. Property is basic, but very clean. Could use a little maintenance inside, but not anything that gets in the way of the stay. Beds are comfy. Wifi helps too. Dogs allowed.

This is the second time we've stayed at The Canyon Inn and for this type of property - short stay, accessible to downtown, easy to find, clean, comfortable beds, helpful staff - it is worth the money and I'd stay again. The first time we brought our dog and that helped us out too. An older motel that has been given updates and love on route 66.
