The Kendrick Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection

Love the location, design and amenities. In the future I will choose 3 rd floor so I don’t hear people walking in the room above.

Well, overall nice but I would never pay what I paid on this stay to stay here again. But it was inflated for the holiday weekend. Didn't try the restaurant this time. Hotel is renovated, used to be something else, probably a Clarion or GreenTree Inn or something. Rooms are nicely renovated, they have patios but I didn't need mine. Bed was quite comfy. Fridge in room didn't have freezer section which inconveniences me. Fitness center looked pretty good but I used no amenities. Just a hotel for sleeping, eating and getting ready. Came up here for hiking.

We booked a room last minute for the 4th of July weekend- rooms were clean, staff was helpful and friendly. On-site restaurant was great and you can't beat location. I was hesitant to book but glad I did. the hotel has been recently renovated, and it feels like you're staying at a more expensive hotel.

The place was really clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely stay again.

During my stay they were also going through a very disruptive parking lot resurfacing, with most of the lot closed off and the staff warning guests to park at the abandoned Denny's next door or risk being towed. I did not deduct stars for this since it is a temporary situation. 3 out of 5 stars for me because I could not sleep there. This would be a total dealbreaker if not for the other efforts they have made.

Your basic good staff with friendly people and good pricing

The room was clean, but in-room amenities were hit & miss… shower product dispensers (shampoo, conditioner, soap) were all empty, towels were poor quality, and the coffee maker wasn’t working.

The rooms are very clean and definitely renovated although it seems like a bit of it was kind of a lipstick. The bathroom doesn’t look as large in person and personally would’ve loved a small table for the balcony. The bedding was clean and beds were comfortable. The staff was super helpful and the food onsite was a fair price. Parking was easy. Overall a solid choice for a weekend getaway.

Great to have an attached, discount restaurant, laundry facilities, hot tub, free whole bean coffee. Room needed better lighting.

Really enjoyed staying here and the restaurant was amazing!

The room was clean and a decent size, staff was very friendly and helpful. The issues I had; [1]the coffee maker was broken so I had to go outside to the lobby each time I wanted a cup. [2] the shower didn't have a mat in the tub and was very slippery. [3] the body wash dispenser {they don't have bar soap} was empty so to shower I had to get wet and shuffle out to the sink area, lather up and shuffle back to the shower to rinse off.

Bed bugs, woke up with a lot of bites on my body.
