SureStay Hotel by Best Western Florence

Needs some minor repairs. The computer video check in was totally new and different. Was so sure if it was a real person working in a remote area or computer AI interface system

I did not stay. Refused. Trashy looking. Lobby smelled like marijuana. People in parking lot asking what in my bag. Just scary and dumpy.

Was fine for a night.

The room smelled bad, and there are many cockroaches.

We just needed a place to sleep, but the smell stayed with us the next day. At least there was parking available by the light and security camera.

Had to go through 4 different rooms before we had one that had no roaches and the ligithts in the room worked. The "deluxe breakfast" consisted of raisin bran or fruit loops with a communal gallon of milk.

There were cockroaches in the bathroom, blood stains on the sheets and towels, smelled like pure smoke. No one on site to help you. No one ever there. Must use kiosk to check in and out. Breakfast was horrible too. There was some bagels with gnats flying around and juice.

stained sheets, room smelled damp, check-in kiosk but statt sitting in the lobby, showers and toilets didnt drain properly, doors adjusted incorrectly and had to be forced clothes, small roaches seen as well.

The room was absolutely unacceptable. There was a strong musty odor, visible cleanliness issues, hair on the towels, and bedding that did not appear to have been freshly changed. I encountered roaches and found evidence that raised concerns about bed bugs. No paying guest should ever have to wonder whether the room has been properly cleaned or whether they are taking pests home with them. The condition of the room was shocking. The door was damaged and allowed light to shine through gaps, creating security concerns. There were electrical issues that should never exist in a guest room. The air conditioning unit was so loud that it was difficult to sleep, yet it barely cooled the room. Instead of providing comfort, it added to an already miserable experience. The property itself felt unsafe. Loud people were making noise throughout the night, and there was little sense that management had any control over what was happening on-site. My room key stopped working at 8:00 AM, adding another unnecessary problem to an already frustrating stay. The breakfast offered was embarrassing. Two cereals that appeared stale, no milk, apple juice, and virtually nothing else. Advertising breakfast and providing that level of service is misleading at best. What was most disappointing was the staff’s attitude. There was no urgency, no concern, and no effort to address the issues. I'd ask for a refund but I already know that's not happening!

I have before pictures of us bringing in our things. The room was dirty, bathroom had stuff all in the sink, the toilet had been used and not flushed, the beds weren’t made, and drugs were actively being sold and used in the parking lot. There was nobody on property the two days we were there. Just a computer screen with a teenage boy on it.

Proximity to airport Cockroaches all over the room, the smell was gross coupled with the stench of old cigarette smoke. Lists continental breakfast which in their managements eyes is only coffee. this place ranks in my top two worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Not worth saving the money on.

Nothing not impressed One you did not talk to a real person it was all animated, they gave us a dirty room beds not even made the whole building was not clean or safe. When we got to the room the door was open a long with others bed mattresses off the bed by doors that was open ( in a lot of rooms )

If that wasn't enough, we booked a king bed room and were put in a room with two full sized beds. More observations: -there was only about 1/3 of a roll of toilet paper in the room. No extra roll tucked away anywhere. -the lotions in the bathroom weren't even sealed. They were already open. -the bottom of the shower curtain had mildew on it. Needless to say we didn't take a shower because of it. -the whole hotel and hallway to our room smelled terrible, like it had been flooded. -you check in via a kiosk, albeit one with a live human on the screen talking you through the process. When my key stopped working today, I went back to the kiosk and swear the kid helping me couldn’t have been more than 12 years old. Not a good look Best Western. -breakfast? Lol. Bread, a toaster, cereal, milk, and juice. That’s it. All-in-all a horrifically terrible experience. We had this room booked for another night on our way back through, and I am definitely cancelling it and finding somewhere else to stay.

Locks were broken on outer doors. The whole place smelled like pot, including our non-smoking room. There was no staff member there - only a virtual rep who checked us in. This place didn't feel safe at all.

Clean the room, change the sheets, pick up the towels. Have a person at the desk not a robot.....
