SureStay Hotel by Best Western Florence

The property has a weird odor. Stayed there 4 nights and not once they cleaned the room. The toilet was halfway broken. Only had 2 towels for the whole stay, had to ask for more. Wouldn’t stay here again.

There were roaches I need a refund

Hotel hall reeked of pot and cigarette smoke. Paint was peeling everywhere. My room floor was sticky, the bathroom door didn’t fit in the frame so didn’t close all the way. Bathtub was very slippery during a shower. Outside doors were not secure - did not close all the way. Breakfast room was not clean and toaster didn’t work. I will NEVER stay here again! Check in was confusing and not user friendly.

This hotel room was one of the dirtiest places I have ever stayed in. It had a musty smell, the sheets were visibly stained and the floor had animal hair all over it, and a dirt ring around the bed. I would never stay here again and this establishment should be ashamed for being in this condition and charging people $150 a night. I inderstand that the hotel is older and nothing fancy, but it did not have to be nasty. I should have listened to my first mind and not booked this room, but I was trying to be on the cheap side due to the rooms being more expensive in that area because of a concert in town. I guess I got what I paid for. Never again

The worst place ever I have ever seen there were unwanted visitors in the hotel rooms we didn’t even stay 5 minutes

Roaches in the room. Complained and then roaches in the new room they tried to give us too. They were all in the bed. No staff on duty to help out with anything only on a kiosk. We ended up sleeping in our car. If I could rate this a zero star I absolutely would. Working on a refund and even that seems impossible to receive.

I was shocked that Expedia would even list a place like this. There was not a human in the lobby to assist with check-in; instead some kind of AI type machine was there that we were supposed to register ourselves with. I left and stayed somewhere else. I was always able to rely on Expedia's bookings in the past, but that window is now closed.

Hotel was in bad shape. Carpets were filthy and grimy. There is no staff. Checkin /check out is done virtually. Housekeeping never entered our room or took garbage out . We were there four day .

My family came to see the Cubs game and that was the best part of our experience over the whole weekend. We wanted a nice comfortable, clean and relaxing place to stay for the weekend and this experience was non of the above. There was what appeared to be a 12 yr old boy that popped up on the kiosk when we were checking out. There was no one available to ask for anything or get help with anything. I am sorry but dissatisfied doesn’t cover it. I will not be booking a hotel with the name Best Western in the future and we have a trip booked for Florida this month. I wish at the very least we were able to get reimbursed our room fees as this was the worst hotel experience I have ever endured and we did it as a family. That makes matters so much worse. I hope you fix these issues for future tenants. I have pictures of you want them as well!

Mind blowing experience!!! Me and wife booked a 1 night stay for a wedding. We arrived walked into an overwhelming stench made it to the room.. NO hot water from the sink or the bathtub to get ready... got back there was still a smell we went to sleep in the morning there was cockroaches in the bathroom on the floor!! Tried to find an on sight manager looked everywhere up and down stairs laundry room couldn't find anyone other then a guy on a screen who was completely useless couldn't ever get a refund because I couldn't find the manager to show him worst hotel ever!!

Room had a strong smell of cleaner. Not sure if they were trying to cover up the smell of the room from previous gusts or just forgot to go back and clean. Don’t count on breakfast consisted of coffee, cereal and donuts. Not a breakfast of choice.

Blatant drug deals in the parking lot. A towel over the smoke detector in the room with evidence of smoked drug use. Hand prints on the headboards. Dirty floors. The block lock on the room was falling off and useless but the main lock worked so it was semi secure. It didn’t have any bugs - which was a concern from other reviews - so at the very least it was “clean”. Overall horrid and should be condemned.

Needs some minor repairs. The computer video check in was totally new and different. Was so sure if it was a real person working in a remote area or computer AI interface system

I did not stay. Refused. Trashy looking. Lobby smelled like marijuana. People in parking lot asking what in my bag. Just scary and dumpy.

Was fine for a night.
