Clarion Inn & Suites Florence - Darlington

Our entire stay consisted of sewage problems.

Don’t know if I came at a time when they we’re doing renovations to place but sure looked like it should be , tubs we’re filthy , didn’t have proper towels . And rooms was infested with roaches could smell them . Looks like area had lot of theft . 4/10

Great room

After inspecting room , we have not wanted to stay there. Ac was not working, light was out in the bathroom and simply froors were dirty.

Expedia was not helpful in any way and was not able to cancel reservations and was billed anyway. This is going to be the last time I used Expedia for anything. Extremely disappointed!!

The hotel was under construction.

Before I even got to my room, I could tell something was off. The place is in a poor state of repair. In reception, the clerk was firendly but seemed genuinely surprised to see me. On the walk to my room, many of the room numbers are missing on the doors and just have a sticky note written in ballpoint pen. There's clear evidence on some of the doors of forced entry (metal door frame bent) that's not been repaired. No vending machine, no services other than the room itself, an ice machine that didn't work and the in-room coffee was just the leftovers from someone else's supplies. The hotel seemed to have a quite few guests but there were only 3 cars in the lot (mine and 2 others). At a guess, the hotel has a deal with the town to house some of the homeless, but I can't be sure. To be honest, if you want to feel safe, stay somewhere else.

Dirty, brown water, staff tried to charge an extra $100 for living 30 miles away from hotel, door was cracked, no continental breakfast as advertised, took 30min to check into hotel as nobody was present in the lobby, loud music playing all night

You kidding place was a bump; dead bugs in bed weed smoke everywhere, total mess!

It was OK for what you paid for it but it’s no gym. Nowhere to wash your clothes no vending machines. Some of the ice machines was broken. Basically what they say they have on the website is not what they have in real life.

Yes, parking was fine

The beds were comfortable Was very dirty the floors were not swept or mopped. The mirrors were dirty. The windows were filthy. The tub needed, scrubbing.

Room was clean and bed felt good.

Room & bathroom was dirty. Found two roaches in the room. Was to include breakfast, no breakfast was available. Billed credit card twice for the room. Everything!!!!

I liked the location ok. The dirty floor that turned my feet black. Plus I was told I had to make a $100 deposit that I would get back, but I did not get it back.

Haven’t got my deposit back yet..and the hotel doesn’t look anything like the picture advertised

We liked the bebs. We didn't have a microwave. We didn't get an ice bucket. We didn't have hand towels. Free Continental breakfast was advertised, but we didn't get any. The refrigerator wasn't the greatest either. There was a 12 by 12 open maintenance hole in the bathroom.
