SpringHill Suites by Marriott Florence

The room was big. TV was in an odd spot, from the bed. It was by the door. Smoky odor in the hall. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff nice.

Room and property were adequate.

The shower worked poorly We had to take our own trash downstairs with dirty towels to pick up up new towels Service was terrible

The staff at check-in (Krystal & Liz) were terrific. Expedited check-in due to fear of computer interruption based on pending storm. Provided information on local restaurants and were very pleasant.

Breakfast was great! Pool was closed and my grandson was excited to go swimming after a long car ride.

The hotel quality was below what pictures and reviews mentioned; couch in our room had stains, fridge did not work, pool was freezing and closed early then times posted. As soon as you walked in smelled like smoke with mix of what they attempted to clean with the smell with, only benefit was that it is right off 95

Nothing Front desk clerk gave a key to my room to a guest checking in at 1:30 am. When they could not get in because of the extra security on the door the clerk then called the room, demanded to know who zi was, informed me I was not register. When I asked how I got a key, they hung up on me. I gave contacted the property and booking.com and no one has responded. $159 to not sleep the majority of the night.

Breakfast was not to my liking, and it was cold, and did not have enough food out for the breakfast crowd. the hall on level 3 had a odor that were terrible and it was not corrected on our stay.

What I liked most about our stay was the location and customer service! The front desk staff were amazingly friendly and resourceful! Breakfast was good. Nice selection! Coffee was amazing! No comment.

The hotel was very clean

The front desk night shift did not have a pleasant attitude when we requested extra towels.

Location The room on first floor near maintenance smell terrible the housekeeping came right in the chk in was good and accommodating the next morning all staff gathered in hallway and and gossip going on did not even come to front desk to help

Location was good One reason we stayed here was because website advertised pool and spa. Spa was removed 2 years ago without updating itself. Pool was dirty and had slimy feeling on floor. All in all not what was expected of a Marriot Bonvoy chain hotel. Room insulation poor hearing door slamming all night. Broken bathtub, etc. Room setup was nice but rundown. Enough said.

My only complaint was that the sink was stopped up at the mini bar refrigerator area. The refrigerator wasn’t level so whenever I put water in it, it would tip forward. You can definitely tell that that hotel hasn’t been renovated in awhile. Unfortunately, I was roomed right next to the elevator in 411 in the elevator is extremely loud. The air conditioner was also loud, but it worked really really well to keep the room pulled off, which I was grateful for. Overall, it was a really good stay again. I’ve stayed there before and will continue to stay there.

Big ups to Crystal at the front desk so very pleasant The tubs were very dirty and slippery which confirms the tubs are not being cleaned properly and the swimming pool was not open work is why I chose Spring Hill

The location is great A lot of the things that the hotel need to be updated such as the bathroom. There was a really strong bleach smell in both of the rooms that we had. This smell did not go away
