TownePlace Suites by Marriott Florence

The place is nice , but the pullout bed in the living room is unusable. It is very hard even for 1 person to sleep on. We had a 2 bedroom, which as advertised as sleeps 6. There is no way 6 people can sleep there. 2 queen beds and very small uncomfortable pullout sofa in the living room. Also there were very smelly stains on the mattress on that pullout couch. Very bad.

Nice hotel for a one night stay over on our road trip.

What a great hotel! We've stayed at so many in Florence, but first time here. Very nice. Love that the pool is outside!! Love the room with nice big fridge and freezer, we got ice cream from Brusters and put it in the freezer till we were ready to have it. Was a nice night for sitting out by the pool, and quiet, some hotels have nothing but highway noise. Pool was clean and the water was nice. Not too cold! Good breakfast! Lots of topping choices for the plain yogurt, very good. Hot foods, waffles, bread variety.They do need hot cocoa though! They actually had towel rods in the bathroom. No hotel do daily service anymore since they stopped it with covid, so you have to hang towels and no hotels have rods! Till now!! Very smart.

Arrived at 3:30 for check in. When I entered my assigned room it was occupied - someone's possessions were all over the room. Returned to the front desk who then confirmed the person had not checked out. After another 20 minutes it was determined there were no other rooms in the category I had reserved, so I was downgraded. An upgrade was not offered. The room had issues. The shower curtain wasn't long enough to go into the tub, so water was all over the floor for each shower. There was hair on the inside of the shower curtain. The tub would barely drain, so during your shower you stand in dirty water. Some of the electric outlets didn't work. The TV has an interesting feature - it automatically dims based on room lighting. Problem is that if you have no or one light on, it's so dim you can't see the images. And it cannot be adjusted. So you have to keep the lights on to watch TV. And they charge $4.96 (?) per day to park in an open, shared, unmonitored parking lot. There is one single ice machine in the entire hotel. No vending on any floor and limited items in the lobby. They did provide a discount for the room mix up to their credit. But it doesn't make up for the poor maintenance and poor room features.

Beautiful property excellent staff will return

Everything was great and amazing with the exception of the bathroom lighting. In the room I stayed in there were two bulbs out over the sink. I asked for replacement bulbs they never came and I wasn't informed if it was the bulbs or an electrical issue. Otherwise it was a great experience,

Bathroom could’ve been cleaner. Obvious dark liquid maybe old soda splashed on walls

The hotel employees were wonderful helped us in our time of the need, our car broke down and they were more than accommodating with all our needs. No charge for parking

Place is very clean and staff is very friendly. I really enjoyed my time there.

Great stop during a road trip! Clean and quiet and very professional staff!

The kitchenette area and location. The bathroom was smaller than expected. When switching to shower, water from the tub fixture continued to run water thus the tub having a pool of water while showering.

Convenient and wonderful staff

Hotel was pretty expensive and charged $5 for parking in a regular lot you wouldn’t expect to pay a fee. Room was very outdated. Every kitchen appliance looked dirty and not well kept up. The beds were squeaky and not comfortable. They were all about the equivalent of a sofa bed quality.

The room was clean. the carpet in the hall and elevator needs to be cleaned.

The report pms had a freezer which for me is important

Nice surprise to find mini quiche and breakfast sandwiches they were excellent. Not many kid friendly items for breakfast if traveling with small ones. No waffles, potatoes or grits of any kind. No scrambled eggs either. Just cereal and a few pastries
