the pool area was very nice however the whirlpool was not working the rooms were well equiped with a large mini fridge microwace and comfortable beds the bath area had problems no stopper is lavatory and the bathtub drain would not close but that was fixed hot water wasnt hot enough for comfortable bath and pressure was very low breakfast area was clean well stocked and very good surprised that no pastries were included staff was friendly overall a very nice stay yes would stay there again

Water pressure was low in the sink but everything else was decent. They are working on renovations now.

They were renovating it, it was in a great location! It was very clean and the beds were comfortable N/A

The building was being renovated/painted from the outside and all the windows were taped shut with plastic. The rooms were carpeted; due to the humidity it seemed damp.

Stayed at this location before about 7 years ago. It has NOT been kept up. It appeared lots of things were “under maintenance ” but we were bummed that the hot tub was drained and taped off. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the room was very humid even with AC running. We got down to breakfast buffet at 8:30 and eggs were gone with not much for options.

Exterior renovations had all the windows covered blocking any view to the outside. I felt it was overpriced for a Monday night in Fort Dodge, Ia…but I booked it so that’s on me I guess.

It was incredibly clean! I only stayed a night but I was impressed and would highly recommend.

Clean, comfortable beds Older hotel

We did not stay. When we arrived we were informed the pool and hot tu was closed. There was water in both. When we did get to the room the phone didn’t work. We asked for a refund and we were told Expedia would give us a full refund,but would not give us a refund receipt. The motel was not as advertised.

Convenient location for the plans we had. As for the room, it was quiet but not well-lit. Walking into the room, flipping the switch for light and nothing. We later found out was that the light switch at the door worked the light on the desk but was not very bright. Even with that light plus the lights by the bed, it is still not a well-lit room. As for breakfast, it was mediocre at best. There were two different kinds of sausage and biscuits and gravy but no eggs. Since we had to leave early, we opted for just cereal and toast. The toast took forever but once they did pop up, the bread was warm but not toasted. After trying to toast it again, it turns out that only one side toasted. Apparently, the coils are burnt out on one side. There was no attendant to make anyone aware of the issue. We spent so little time in the room other than to sleep and shower, if we do ever have the opportunity to come to Fort Dodge in the future, I am not sure I would give this hotel a try again. It served our needs this time.

Clean, affordable, nice breakfast provided, staff was friendly! It was in a little awkward location. Don’t miss the road or you have to do all whole lot of finding a way to turn around!

This has been our go to hotel when in Fort Dodge for the last 2 years. Always clean and comfortable, with a nice breakfast and friendly staff.
