Amazing warm pool and perfect hot tub! Quiet yet close to many restaurants. The evening staff person was not friendly or very helpful but the morning guy was nice.

It was a place to lay my head out of the heat! Shower was nice and hot! Location was nice with many store's and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was meh! Not a lot of options! Needed a room for one night during state softball and all the hotels in town jacked up the price! Checked the price a week later and it appears to be 1/2 that price of what I paid. Oughta be against the law!! Staff at check-in was not rude, but almost seemed like we were a burden checking in.

The bathtub in our room had been coated with something and parts of the coating had come off, leaving rough patchy surfaces. My toe is still sore.

The room was filthy. Is it really that hard to wipe down dirty areas of the walls, the corners of the floors and behind and under the bed? Or cleaning underneath the shelves in the shower. Come on Baymont, do better! Make sure the people you're hiring to clean, actually know how to clean!

The one lady opened up the breakfast room early so I could be at work without being hungry & they got me gluten free bread too - thank you very much ! The room was quiet*, warm, spacious enough & the bed comfy. There were plenty of charger points by the bed & there's a fridge. Breakfast is budget, sweet & mostly cold with a LOUD tv to make sure you have woken up. There wasn't much shower gel. *the room was quiet when the heater/aircon was off, otherwise it wasn't. Fort Dodge is a place you only visit if you are passing through, there to work or are unfortunate. So, although this hotel is in concreteville it is where the restaurants are. (Downtown, there is nothing but tumbleweed, 2 bars & and eerie feeling that the atomic bomb has gone off while you were inside).
