It was okay

Price is fair for the overall experience, staff was really nice and welcoming. The only thing was that, being a group with 4 rooms, they should have been a bit more flexible in the weekend price when we decided to stay. So we had to book the next 3 nights with Expedia instead of directly with the hotel.

The property was clean, but it smelled a little funny. We couldn't figure out what the smell was. But the staff were awesome. They get 5 stars for everyone that we worked with. The room was bigger than expected with a kitchenette.

We caught the free shuttle at 5 am & there we able bodied people sitting in the 1st row so I had my hubby ask the driver if there were more people getting on. Aft 3 times we finally got an answer & he wouldn't listen about how to handle my wheelchair. I had my hip replaced & have limited ability to get in or out so I hoisted myself into the jump seat & was fine. When we were dropped off the young driver was very rude to my hubby & told him not to speak to him like he was a child. My hubby then said you didn't listen when I was telling you how to put the wheelchair in & I had to as 3 times if more people were coming they were simple words. We just went in as the driver was still ranting. So other than that the hotel was fine. We found a great old fashioned restaurant, Lester's about a half mile down the sidewalk to the right that has a huge menu to choose from & open 24 hours. There's all kinds of stores across the road.

All was good, nobody at the front desk when we arrive, the zone it is not the best, but still good placed, the coffee was awesome and the room is a little apt.

Staff was super friendly and helpful (sonia) she went beyond to help The elevator a couple of times wasn't working had to take the stairs

The room was very clean and smelt very good.

Microwave did not work. Bedside lamp also did not work. Toilet backed up 2x. Had to use lobby microwave.

Don't know if I'll ever be back to Ft. Lauderdale, but if I do go back, I will definitely book with Candlewood Suites again! 10/10

Everything was outstanding and safe. We enjoyed our trip to our favorite city. We always love Florida and plan to come back soon. Plenty of rest and relaxing plus great seafood. No complaints at all. We appreciate everyone’s kindness always.
