Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Ft Lauderdale Airport/Cru by IHG

There was a floor towel hanging in the bathroom dirty and the bathroom floor had hair all over. The fitted sheet was very nasty with dried up sticky spots on it and I had the cleaning lady come and she scratched at the spots and I told to take the sheet and replace it and she took it and never brought me another one so then the next in the morning I'm taking a bath and I'm partially handicapped so I'm in the handicap room and I start to stretch my arms out and I reach up underneath the shelf that's in the bathtub to grab onto and I feel something slimy and I look and it's black mold very very bad underneath there which I'm allergic to so I hurried up and got out drugged my hands was peroxide I took pictures of it and video and went downstairs and talked to the front desk explain to the gentleman that I need to speak the management and he said soon as they come in I'll let you know he said I'll be 11:00 a.m. well 11:30 comes around I still don't hear nothing so I go down and he says she's not in yet. So I asked him for a late checkout cuz check out was 11 and it get I had one for 12:00 p.m. and I said I'm going to need a later checkout until she gets here what's the latest you can give me he tells me 1:00 p.m. is the best he can do and I was like I usually get when I ask for a late check out 2:00 p.m. free of charge because of my membership. And he started getting the attitude with me which was very unprofessional I come down here all the time for work for FPL I do inspections

My room was very spacious , and clean. I love the fact that it had a refrigerator ,microwave ,and a nice coffee machine. They serve breakfast had different options of food. I use the gym for a short workout. Pool area was nice clean . The staff were very pleasant and nice. I enjoyed my stay. Definitely will be booking again.

Arrived early and staff helped us find a restaurant to walk to, and held luggage for us. Very friendly as well.

The breakfast was good tooMy son and I both agreed that the eggs at the breakfast were really good compared to other hotel breakfasts that are included.

I need to be refunded. They said the hotel was sold out. I never got an email or anything. I had to stay at another hotel for double the price. Will never use your website again

The property is nice and clean. There is ample parking along the front and side of the building. The location is ideal as its close to shopping, restaurants, and even the hospital if you're visiting a loved one. The staff are accommodating and some speak multiple languages. Breakfast is also very good. I would recommend this place to anyone.
