Coconut Bay Resort

Location was great. Room was large. Bed very comfy. TV in bedroom would not turn on. Billie who works in timeshares was really a nice guy! (thanks for the quarters) The General Manager and Head Housekeeper!!! RUDE BEYOND COMPARE!! **I travel ALOT. I have NEVER given a bad review. EVER!! The GM gave me a late checkout for 11am which I appreciated greatly. Apparently my clock in the room was an hour behind as was the stove clock. My phone had been stolen at the beach (my fault I left it while swimming) oh well. Anyway, Housekeeper kept coming to the door VERY pushy "You have got to get out, you are past check out, it was 10:30. *we were finishing our load in laundry drying. POWER-WASHING HAD NOT EVEN BEGAN AT 11:30 in other area walkway AWAY. I have photos! but then we had to go find more quarters as clothes were wet and we were flying back home.) She came multiple times in 30 mins. I was RUSHING LIKE MAD. I had already cleaned the room, organized, picked up and always like to leave it clean for housekeeping (as that is MY signature) of a good guest. Anyway, not two minutes after head housekeeper came for the third time in a 15 min time period, the GM IMMEDIATELY comes and VERY ARROGANTLY, EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE, PROCEEDS TO TELL ME "YOU NEED TO GET OUT!!" YOU ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE (IT WAS 11:15 AM) I told her, "WAIT, its only 10:15am WHY are you being so rude to me?" She points to her phone and says 'NO, it's 11:15!!" I was shocked, that is when I discovered the clocks in the room were an hour behind. I APOLOGIZED so profusely, I FELT very embarrassed. She CONTINUES BASICALLY BERATING ME WITH FAST-FLOWING, NON-STOP "YOU NEED TO LEAVE" I invited her in the room to see how I had spent the last hour cleaning it up, doing the dishes, making in nice for housekeeping etc.. she did not care! "OK< now "I ALSO AM A SUPERVISOR, I SUPERVISE 150 NURSES IN MY PROFESSION. I AM USED TO LEADING PEOPLE. I REMAINED CALM,YET KIND.' Her personality WAS ABUSIVE!, NOT SELF-AWARE.

Great location with large, clean rooms/ suites and a beautiful pool area. It appears that some people live there. One such unit was next door and VERY LOUD and obnoxious until around 11pm.

Recent remodel, place was in great shape and had everything you needed. Great staff. Super clean, really comfortable bed. Great pool and hot tub. The hot tub was actually hot. The pool was a great temp and the edeep and was a little over 6' which is nice for me because I'm a little over 6'. Cant say enough good things about staff and unit and pool area. but ther were a few small problems that kept it from a perfect score. We used booking.com just after the holtel office hours and it doesn't work righ for them on their end and we didnt have room to check into. By chance a staff member, Billy was walking by and took care of it immdiatly and made a room for us. He was expedient and outstanding. He got us in a room and had us sort it out in the morning. Smart and eficient call. However, the unit we got had limited cooling going on. Yes it was a hot summer day but he AC had been on max all day with no one there and it was still quite warm in the evening. It cooled down enough later that evening and into the morning but mid day in there would be sweaty. I think that ac unit just needs a tune up. Other than that, the place is great. I told Ella and Billy about the AC in the morning and they put in a work order on it right then. So if the AC in 303 if fixed, its a great spot.

The facilities are excellent, with all the amenities one could need to spend a few relaxing days. The accommodation staff was always friendly and willing to help us with our questions. Everything was very clean and tidy. Fantastic!!! I didn’t find anything negative.

Reception is only open until a certain time. Early check out time Can’t even store luggage after 5 pm as there is no staff available

Location to the water taxi was close and convenient. We were able to get early check in and the staff at the front desk was great. They also had great communication and were very helpful with our reservation before we arrived.
