Fantastic family gate away!

This place is a hidden gem, especially with kids and toddlers. We stayed here post-cruise, and wished we stayed here pre cruise. There’s a dry playground on the sand, mini golf, large size chess, and great pool for them to play around. Plenty of lounge chairs, and right on the beach. They have live music Fri-Sun by the pool which was nice. Staff were all so friendly. My daughter unfortunately suffered a painful bee sting on her foot at the playground area, and the staff were all helpful by providing ice, packaged tweezers, wipes and remedies to help my daughter. We had the executive king suite and the space was so great. Lots of room for my toddlers to run around in the living room area. Only con was that the bath tub was clogged, so we couldn’t really utilize it, but there is also a stand up shower. The place is much older, and has that 90s resort feel to me which gives it character. There’s a little market place for snack/drink, a diner for meals and ice cream, and a nice restaurant on site, as well as the pool bar area. Would definitely stay here again

The place was very beautiful, the staffs were very friendly the public areas were nice designed and clean. The food and bar were great! No additional stupid charges for beach and resort service. Definitely will go back and stay for other vacations. Everything was nice!

Our first room smelled awful, I immediately called the desk and they moved us to a better room. Great customer service.

Nice property on the beach. Clean room and very friendly staff. Restaurant on the resort was delicious.

The location is nicely tucked away, and the hotel is spotless including the rooms! Nice balcony. Cons: There are none. Besides wishing for a hot tub, but that’s all it lacks. I would stay here again every time! Thank you Lago Mar! You made our vacation Great!
