Lago Mar Beach Resort & Club

It’s a nice property with a very nice beach, the rooms were big with a separate living room area. When we booked the room beach chairs were included for no extra cost, then we get there and it’s $80 a day for 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella. There was an $11 service fee to set up the chairs and umbrella and then we still had to leave a tip! I have no issue tipping but why a service charge? What’s that for? The breakfast buffet was ok, at times the staff was slow to bring our coffee and drinks, but everyone was very friendly. Overall an ok stay, next year I plan to find another place to stay, if not I will stay there again, at least I’ll know what I’m getting into.

It was a perfect location right on the beach. We loved how the resort was set up. Super easy access to everything you need. Staff was super nice and helpful.

Stayed here for a few days before a cruise and we absolutely loved it!! We have three boys (14/12/8) and they had so much fun with all the included activities. We spent hours in the beautiful pool and in the ocean. And took breaks from the water to play mini golf, sand volleyball, sand soccer, and pickleball. Our favorite food spots were the soda shop and the pool bar area (the fish tacos are great)! Also loved our room - 1.5 baths, a balcony, and a table where we could play cards were awesome perks! The kids would’ve been happy to spend a whole week here. Will definitely stay again if we come back to Fort Lauderdale.

Very spacious and clean room with balcony overlooking kids pool and near elevator. Outstandingly polite and helpful staff. Hotel grounds and emenities well kept. Private is a real jem. Food at this hotel is very good and reasonably priced for the quality and quantity you receive. However if you are a night owl this hotel may not be for you as it go's quiet/dark after dusk and everything closes. It is a 4 diamond resort and earns it.

We ate at all the restaurants, both inside and out, and while the menus were a bit lacking the food was tasty. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and our suite was spacious, allowing for a fold out bed and enough space for two teen boys to really spread out. I met many couples who either got engaged at the resort or honeymooned there and come back year after year- a true testament! The decor was a bit art deco and you could feel the history in the halls and on the grounds. Parking was easy and it was a great week!

Beautiful property! You felt like you were in Cancun, Mexico especially by the pool area! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Beach is private and extensive.

Great stay and conveniently located to Port Everglades.

Beautiful kinda old school in some ways but we liked that. It has a charm that only comes with history. The owners care and it’s apparent.

The location of this resort is unbeatable. Literal minutes from Fort Lauderdale Beach with its own private beach. It’s private but very close to everything. The views are spectacular. The main pool is a great size and perfect for families. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. We like it so much that we have made this our summer vacation every year for the past three summers.

Well laid out. Rooms were spacious with adequate facilities. Bit far out from main drag, but uber transfers were cheap.

Pool, Room, Friendly Staff and the food was very good. We enjoyed the stay very much.

Beach was terrific lots to enjoy and activities around the resort like soccer, volleyball, basketball court, chess and pool.

Hi sorry to say the hotel was pretty good to be fair but what was disappointing was my wife had a £45 bottle Dior shampoo taken from the hotel room with access only ourselves and the staff so can only say one of the cleaning staff removed it while we were away. It may seem and is not a biggie but still disappointing. Great hotel apart from that.
