Lots to do!! Good food great prices

The property didnt disappoint. Its off the beaten path but it definitely gives all inclusive vibes. I wish the resort had energetic entertainment and would be ideal for those looking to relax. If youre looking for party vibes with high energy, this is not that. I would recommend for couples, seniors or families.

Staff was helpful , kind and did their jobs really well. Made us feel like family.

One bad experience in the middle of the night a ceiling towel fell, and water was tripping very fast from the air-conditioning unit had to put a bucket down. All you could hear was water dripping down. Had to switch to another room the next morning that was not a fun thing to do on your vacation and all I asked for was an extension for staying in the room since our flight was leaving later in the day and it took him a whole day and a half to get back to me. They said I could stay an extra three hours which I felt should’ve been longer was the inconvenience for us moving our room and and getting a sleep that night we had been out for dinner and had a few drinks. I was in no mood to get all my stuff together at 3 o’clock in the morning and switch rooms. That’s what I was disappointed in that they didn’t take quicker action and didn’t I’ve sent my time for staying in the room since my flight was not leaving until 7 PM

They should sell beer by the bucket like other resorts do. 5 beers in a bucket of ice is perfect. Place was great. Right on the beach. Couldn’t have been nicer. Pool was great as well.

Great time, direct access to the beach. Not crowded, food could have been better and breakfast should be included in the price of the room. Overall, nice place, great atmosphere and staff.

Lago Mar overall is an excellent choice when looking for a getaway.

I love everything; the only thing I don't like is that you use a single card for everything—including room services—which means you have to use that same card for everything.

The only sad part is that I lost my wedding ring in my room on the very first day. I took it off to clean it. Then, when I remembered it, I looked for it everywhere, did over my suitcases, nada, and it's hard to explain. Still can't imagine that I lost it.

The accommodations were excellent, clean, nice staff and great value. The only real issue we experienced was the check in delay. They may have been short staffed but if I had known we would be waiting to get into our room for over three hours, I would have planned other activities to fill the time. However, we did have an early flight and perhaps this played a part in the delay. I just wish they would have said that.

This was our 2nd time staying at Lago Mar. Beautiful place to stay, the rooms are dated but clean and were cleaned DAILY during our 7 day stay. The ladies at the front desk, top notch!!! We always enjoyed eating lunch at the tiki bar conveniently located between both pools, Dany from Hati (all staff wear name tags with the lication they are fom) was AMAZING, hi energy, lots of laughs and engaging with his patrons, my husband and our friends we traveled with had a great time with Dany behind the bar serving our drinks I did notice they have been getting rid of the iguanas on the property which i didnt mind as 2 years ago when we were there, they were overtaking the place, they were everywhere. The only negative was 1 staff, Stacy from New York, she was working poolside at the adults only pool, a real downer, had to listen to her complain about tips, not making enough money, how we are all there on vacation but shes there to work and she doesnt have enough money to pay her bills and she just got paid and is broke already, then she developed an attitude, she clearly has no business working there with that type of attitude and energy...Dave, supervisor of food and beverage, that man truly loves his job and is dedicated to making the guests experience top notch, you can tell when a person is passionate about their job! This location is for a relaxing vacation, there's not much as far as excursions go but lthis is our go to when we want to relax.
