Ocean Manor Beach Hotel

The hotel had everything we needed, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the laundry machines were not working. When I asked for assistance, I was told the hotel didn't own the machines, so they couldn't help, which meant I wasn't able to do my laundry. Despite that inconvenience, we had a great stay overall. The location was very convenient, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

The excellent staff stood out the most. From checking in to Mo setting up our chairs and umbrella every day, the tiki hut food and service and the cleaning staff all were so nice and helpful. A big thank you to staff that cleaned our room and turned in my daughter’s case of expensive (ridiculous) sunglasses. She happily paid for shipping and received them in a few days. Thank you so much.

The post mentions that there’s an in-room washer and dryer, but unfortunately, the room didn’t have either.

Great beach and pool areas, hotel rooms are agressively average and need some updating. Great outdoor tiki bar and food, attached Italian restaurant was subpar. Staff were accommodating and friendly.

In addition, the hotel was not very clean, the pool was dirty, and the beach on that side was not very appealing. There was also a camera near the pool that appeared to be pointed toward the hotel balconies, which raised privacy concerns and it makes you feel uncomfortable Overall, the property did not match the expectations created by the listing, and I was very disappointed with my experience

My experience at this property was amazing. It was the first time I visited, but I’m looking forward to visiting again soon. Proper clean staff was amazing. The balcony view was amazing. Overall review amazing

Third time staying here, the staff is always super accommodating and very friendly. We love the tiki bar and everything the hotel has to offer. The rooms are updated, but a little rundown, the trim was falling off of the walls, but not something that affects us.

Excellent location right on the beach. Property was very clean, well decorated, and grounds were well-kept. The beaches were covered with seaweed…which is all up and down the coast, so nothing to do with the hotel. Restaurant offered great food options. Pool seemed very popular. The only issue is the fact this is one of the original properties in this area. A few minor evidences of this…doors are older and walls are a bit thin so when others slam doors one can hear it…but this was not a regular occurrence. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in that area!

Room wasn’t the same as depicted on Expedias website. There are no ocean front views only side views. They upgraded us to a PH room and we found a flying roach the size of my finger! The first manager Rafael was accommodating with the room upgrade but the guy at the front desk after we found the roach was rude, unhelpful and had no phone etiquette or manners. The other manager Mike did help us get our refund after the front desk guy lied and said we checked out at 12am when we left the property less than 5 hours after checking in.

The room was spacious and the balcony had an excellent view. Only thing I can say, the rooms needed some cosmetic work. The bathroom door could not close properly and the sliding door from the balcony was extremely hard to open. Other than that had a perfect 2 nights celebrating with the wife

Rooms were nice enough. But the tiki bar in the back was awesome. All of the food was incredible. It makes the stay worthwhile.

Great stay

It is a nice hotel for the money— the pool area could use a nice power wash to get rid of some of the debris and foliage after storms— overall it’s a good deal for the directly on the beach. The food is amazing—

Room needed to be renovated better it was neat but painted door didn't look finished but nothing major. Tiki bar was awesome so it made up for it.

The staff was friendly when approached. They were doing lots of painting and stuff. The room was pretty clean. The tiki bar was convenient. The beach was nice. Not too crowded.

Didn’t sleep due to loud people on both sides of our rooms. The walls are paper tin and you can hear somebody talking a normal convo. But these people were really loud at 3am. Hallways reeked of weed. Just very low class as far as places I’ve stayed. The only employee that went out of his way was Brian. The rooms have doors that are breaking apart. Don’t trust the pics because it doesn’t look that nice. Embarrassed I brought my mom here for her birthday.

atento y amable. En realidad le doy 4 estrellas porque las habitaciones(la que me asignaron a mi) un poco pequeña al igual que el baño. Y no tenia microvawe. También pagas el fee del resort que solo te da derecho a estar en la playa ,si quiere usar las tumbonas y sombrilla tienes que pagarlas. Asi que no entiendo que beneficio te da pagar el fee. Porque también el parqueo se paga por noche. En general el hotel esta bueno y aceptable y el precio que pagamos también.

Room was very basic..water pressure and temp were not great. Had slight smell of cigarettes. You get what you pay for. Having a bamboo bar at the beach was a perk and the food was and staff were great
