Ocean Manor Beach Hotel

Room was not well cleaned. The door to the room was messed up, heavy, and loud. The room towels had residue and fuzz that came off of it. The water from the sinks came out dirty. The shower head was like a jet stream.

It was clean

1. Biggest Complaint - No Umbrellas at the pool! Very few places to sit in the that had shade, and the areas would change as the sun moved throughout the day; the sun was intense and without an umbrella, it was often impossible to get out of the sun without renting chairs/umbrella at the beach 2. 2nd Biggest Complaint -Internet issue- reached out to owner who put us in touch with someone else; tv connection was in and out throughout the stay which was very frustrating. 3. small coffee pot in the unit - it was a 10 cup pot and the unit we stayed in sleeps up to 6 people; we only had 4 and had to make 2 pots of coffee every day; just inconvenient - 2 coffee pots would be better 4. washing machine was broken; owner ordered the part for it but it did not get repaired during our stay; inconvenient because we packed with the assumption we could do laundry if needed during our stay 5. The enclosed balcony window was very difficult to open and would only open about a 1/3 of the way; not sure if this is intentional for safety reasons or not Things we liked: 1. Unit was clean & ocean view from our unit was fantastic! 2. staffed front desk - our unit is privately owned so we did not have to "check in" but it was nice to have someone to talk to if needed 2. Valet parking - $15/day was reasonable for constant access to our vehicle with valet parking 3. Owner was quick to respond when we had questions

Location, it was right on the beach It is very old, not well kept, most of the things were falling apart in the room. My room doors were damaged and I couldn’t lock my doors. I felt so unsafe. I asked the front desk to fix it . They said twice that someone would be coming out to fix the doors but they never did. All of the things around the room were ancient old and falling apart. The curtains were so old it had holes in it.

The building looks like an old apartment building. Theres a weird smell in the hallway and rooms. The rug of the hallway is disgusting. The elevators super tiny. Super over priced for what it is.

Great location

The property is ran down...Sad to watch. I still decided to have fun- the beach is perfect there. But the building needs a lot of renovations. Plus I didn't get the room I originally booked. The staff helped to get something decent, at least remodeled, but I was extremely disappointed...The prices are pretty low, but sometimes it's better to pay a bit more and stay somewhere else.

Superb

The location is great, the tiki bar food and staff were excellent. The hotel itself was not up to my expectations. The room was small and was desperately in need of updating. The sheets and comforters had seen better days. Towels as well. No microwave, ice bucket, luggage rack, ironing board provided. Our remote was taped together. No cable tv all streaming only. Fridge had old food from previous guests. Dirty drawer on the nightstand with cigarette butts. Broken sink, poor water pressure and water was only warm in the shower and sink. Noisy, weed smoke comes through the vents, I could go on but it’s pointless. Not likely to ever stay here again.

Everything was great. Great place awesome staff. Only thing was my sliding glass door on balcony wouldn’t open all the way. Mayb needs to be checked

Staff and especially Bert at the front desk were attentive polite and respectful.

Staff was nice. Hole in wall. Extension cable everywhere! Toilet not flushing properly. It was a sad stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great location and the overall experience was excellent. We’ll definitely be back!

After house keeping make my room an expensive face cream disappear...room 419...9/6...

The staff was incredibly helpful and nice, the outside and inside was beautiful and clean, the only concerns are was that the bathroom is too small, the shampoo and conditioner had no scent, they’re really small, and overall cheap, there was no vending machines, no coffee maker nor outlets by the bed, I feel like the room could’ve been better, but overall I had a good experience but personally, I won’t be back because of the rooms.
